The Dardanup Equestrian Centre (DEC) has a mandatory policy requiring all casual riders to book and pay online before arriving at the grounds.

This system was officially implemented by the DEC committee—which represents all affiliated clubs—to address safety, legal liability, and financial sustainability.

Here are the core rules and details you need to know:

Strictly Cashless: All payments for casual riding must be processed through the online booking system.

Ground Fee: The fee is $10.00 per horse (regardless of whether the horse is ridden or not)

Mandatory Booking: You must secure your slot via the DEC website before you arrive at the venue.

Club Membership Verification: The booking system ensures that those using the grounds are financial members of DEC's affiliated clubs

Safety & Upkeep: The booking system prevents riders from arriving during scheduled event bookings, maintenance windows, or when the grounds are otherwise unsafe for use

Ground fees are directly reinvested into maintaining and improving the facilities.

Once again the back door to the ladies toilets has been left open.
This is a security issue if it’s not closed.
If this continues to happen we will have no choice but to change the code to restrict use.
Please…please if you have used the code to open the door it’s your responsibility to make sure the door is CLOSED when you exit.

Pony club will be spraying around the XC jumps in the next couple of weeks.
Please be mindful when riding out on the XC paddock and letting your horses graze.

The tractor is now back in action.

The tractor will be out of action over the weekend.

****Please remember ground fees are to be paid before you ride. If you forget to pay please select a 10pm slot and make a booking.

****Can we also make sure whoever is in charge of unlocking the clubrooms is in charge of locking up the clubrooms and activating the alarm.

The main arena will be closed today as the workers are erecting the sun shelters.
If you are riding today please book and use top arena or Campdraft area.
The grounds will be closed tomorrow as machinery will be on the grounds finishing off the sun shelter construction.
