You know we are getting closer to the new GBL season when EOI’s for Futures League get released.

Not familiar? It’s a pre season development program run by BQ and is open to members of all Clubs. One of the best programs available in our opinion and we encourage all our Junior Bulldogs (and our Coaches/Scorers) to get involved.

For those moving up from Little League this is a great opportunity to play some games on the bigger diamond and learn the new rules for the next stage of your baseball life. Also, if you want some game time before the new season, this is great opportunity.

*** EOIs ARE OPEN FOR JUNIORS FUTURES LEAGUE 2026 ***

Juniors Competition Dates:
Sundays from 16 August to 13 September 2026

Age Range:
U14 - Players born in 2013 and 2014
U16 and U18 - Players born in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012

EOIs CLOSE TUESDAY, 30 JUNE 2026

U14
The competition will introduce a revised format this year, with a stronger focus on player development through a skill-based instructional approach centred on learning and improvement. Each session will feature structured training activities designed to build core baseball skills including hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, and game awareness before progressing into a full game where players will return to their drafted team and can apply these skills in a competitive environment. This half training/half game model promotes participation, confidence, teamwork, and long-term athletic development while ensuring the competition remains enjoyable, engaging, and educational for all players.

U16/U18
The competition will once again feature doubleheader Sundays for the combined U16 and U18 age groups, creating a stronger and more competitive environment that will challenge and benefit all participating athletes. This structure provides players with an excellent opportunity to showcase their abilities while competing at a higher level, helping prepare them for the upcoming season and future representative pathways.

More than a sport, baseball can take you anywhere and give you amazing life experiences.

Wishing Atti and S***a all the very best for this Baseball Queensland tour of Japan. Our Junior Bulldogs have earned the chance to play games against local Japanese teams and explore some of the cultural sites of the country.

We will be cheering you on from home.

It’s in our nature… Bulldogs supporting other doggies. And our Club Sponsor KPR Automotive is seeking your support of this worthwhile cause.

Please follow the link below to donate to the Cancer Council and support Lolly & Jack (the KPR Mascots).

Lolly and Jack are officially on duty. 🐾

This June, our KPR mascot dogs are taking on the Cancer Council's 50km Dog Walk for Cancer challenge. They'll be swapping naps and backyard patrols for daily walks to raise money for a cause that touches so many of us.

Every km they walk, every dollar raised, goes toward life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, and support for people and families impacted by cancer.

Want to help them cross the finish line? Donate and we'll shout you some KPR merch as a thank you (think dog leads, water bottles, and a few other goodies). Because every bit of support counts. 🎁

Tap the link to donate and cheer on our good girl Lolly and good boy Jack. 💛

We are exited to share this post from Brisbane West Regional Baseball, as Timberjacks gets underway!

This tournament is a fantastic chance to challenge yourself, build experience and showcase skills in a friendly environment.

👉 check out the post below for all the details

State Titles might be over, but that doesn’t mean the baseball has to stop! ⚾️😊

Tournament play is one of the best parts of the game. More time at the fields, hanging out with teammates, and just having fun playing baseball. It’s a great way to keep improving while enjoying the game with your mates over the winter months.

The annual Timberjacks Tournament in Lismore is coming up, and we’re putting together teams for U12, U14, U16, and U20 players.

If you’re keen to keep playing, have some fun, and be part of a great tournament experience, we’d love to have you join us! 🙌🐺
