Thirty-one girls took part in our four-week Girls-Only Social Smash program in May, with many experiencing cricket for the first time. 🏏

The program focuses on participation, friendships and confidence, giving women and girls a supportive and inclusive environment to be active, try something new and become part of the cricket community.

This Women & Girls Week, we’re celebrating programs creating new ways for girls to experience cricket across the Territory.

Postcards from the Study NT Top End T20 Series 🌴

As we head towards the end of the Darwin & Districts Cricket Competition junior season, it’s the perfect time to celebrate a significant moment in the NT cricket “summer” – the Australia v Bangladesh Test Match at TIO Stadium.

What made it even more special was seeing every Darwin & Districts Cricket Competition club represented on the field during the Day 3 lunch break. 🏏💚

From grassroots cricket to Test cricket, it was a special reminder of what our cricket community is all about.
