Darwin Outrigger Canoe Club - DOCC

Darwin Outrigger Club is based at the Ski Club and paddles Fannie Bay and Darwin Harbour. Our members range in age from their 20s to 70s.
Darwin Outrigger Canoe Club (previously Arafura OCC) was founded by a group of like-minded people in 2004. Some paddle socially for fitness while others train for events around Australia. We meet in the Ski Club carpark on Tues & Thurs at 5:00pm for a 1 hour paddle (approx 8km). We also meet at 6am on Sat for a 2+ hour paddle (17-20km).

Sunday Funday completed! We had the 6 out as well as Rell & Judith were out in a double.
Tu & Bear were off enjoying singles Andrew was being a paddling type grandfather and had the kids learning the basics of paddling in the beautiful dry season waters
Everyone enjoyed themselves.❤️🤍❤️🤍

Darwin is the best place to live -most of the time!
But saying Goodbye to friends - it’s hard
In Darwin we say goodbye too often.
Laura & Ben -we are not saying Goodbye! We are saying Mahola ( Thank you for sharing your time with us) and Aloha a hui hou: "goodbye, until we see each other again".
