Next weekend, 23–25 October, we’re heading to the Billabongs for the final round of the 2026 Top End Barra Series!

⏰ Lines in at 6pm Friday night, with lines out at 6pm Sunday!

🔥 OPEN CATEGORY

It’s neck and neck at the top! Jacob is sitting pretty, but young Kalan is hot on his heels. With Kalan already having dropped a round, a big score at the Billabongs could see him take out the title.

🎣 OLD SCHOOL

It’s just as tight in Old School, with John Snr and John Jnr battling it out against our very own VP Archie.

Both categories have a few others still in the mix, and with your best 5 rounds out of 6 counting towards your overall score, a big final round could shake things up!

Young 7-year-old Noah reeled a cracking 74cm and 72cm barra from Saturday's session up the Wilshires while trying to stay out of the wind. 🎣

Once again, Noah managed to best his old man. Dad is really just there to drive the boat! 😆

🎣 Round 5 - Adelaide River

Todd Arthur had a great weekend on the water, securing 2nd place with his biggest five barra measuring 95cm, 91cm, 78cm, 75cm and 74cm. 👏

Fishing the waters between Wiltshire 1 and Castle Creek, Todd found the better quality fish coming through on the incoming tide. His biggest barra came while drifting down the middle of the river and working the edges of the banks.

As the wind picked up, the fishing became much tougher with the fish moving into deeper water, but Todd had already put together an impressive bag.

His two biggest fish, the 91cm and 95cm barra, were taken on a 200mm Pro Lates Popeye Mullet. 🔥

A cracking effort Todd and a well-deserved 2nd place finish! 🏆🎣
