With nine kids between us and lives that rarely slow down, making it to a three-day fishing tournament is no small feat. It takes serious planning, prep, logistics—and a whole lot of help.

Casting game strong 💪🤩

What a baaaaad freaking bite! In many cases, I had to make multiple casts to get bit- especially if I only got halfway back under these pontoons and slips. Alternated between a 5 and 6” swimbait, and the way they’d rip the rod out of my hands was rewarding. This was practice, but I caught about 15 fish a day during the tournament doing this!

GGF Day 3 and final wrap up...To put it nicely, day 3 was a bit 💩 We couldn't quite find our rhythm with the changing tides and unfortunately didn't log a scoring fish. This dropped us down the leaderboard to finish 12th place. Would've been great to finish our week with another big fish but it wasn't to be.
Congratulations to everyone that put in the hard yards. It was especially great to see so many new faces this year, catching fish and enjoying the event.
