Proud to share the completion of four modular residential dwellings for the Housing Authority of Western Australia β delivered to Wyndham, in the heart of the Kimberley.
Remote housing projects don't come without their challenges, and this one had plenty. Here's what it took to get four quality homes across the line.
π·4 dwellings across 2 lots β one 2-bedroom and one 3-bedroom on each
π·Designed, engineered, and certified to NCC, built specifically for Kimberley conditions
π·Manufactured at our Darwin facility and transported over 2,000 km by road to Wyndham
π·Cranage, structural assembly, and full site completion managed on arrival
π·Local Wyndham and regional contractors engaged for plumbing, electrical, and civil works
π·Site materials and landscaping sourced locally
π·External works completed including fencing, driveways, carports, gates, and landscaping
Getting quality housing into remote communities is exactly what we're here for β and it doesn't happen without the right people behind it. A huge thank you to the Northern Transportables team who put in the hard work to design, build, and deliver these homes to such a high standard, often under demanding conditions. Your dedication is what makes projects like this possible.
Big thanks also to the local trades and suppliers who were part of making it happen.

UPDATE β What an incredible day! We're so proud to share that together we raised $528 for Do It for Dolly Day, smashing our original goal by $328! π
Every dollar goes toward Dolly's Dream β supporting the fight against bullying and helping ensure no child, family, or community has to endure the heartbreak the Everett family did. Bullying has no place in our schools, our workplaces, or our communities, and today showed what can happen when people come together to stand up and say "enough."
A heartfelt thank you to the entire Northerns team for backing this cause so generously, and to every single person who donated. You've helped carry Dolly's message forward β be kind, and speak, even if your voice shakes. π
π Weβre proud to be supporting Do It For Dolly Day β standing together against bullying and supporting kinder, safer communities for our kids.
At Northern Transportables, we know looking after your mates matters both on and off the worksite. Every conversation, every act of kindness, and every bit of support can make a difference.
If you can, please jump on board and support this important cause through our fundraiser below ππ

Introducing Andrew Datson β our new Regional Manager, Adelaide
We're thrilled to welcome Andrew to the Northern Transportables team. Here's a bit about the man taking the reins in South Australia.
On his background and what drew him to NT: "I've been working within the construction industry for over 25 years, including modular construction. I was drawn to Northern Transportables because I'm hopeful my experience and knowledge can help the company grow moving forward."
What he's bringing to Adelaide: A deep bench across modular building construction, management, design, estimating, compliance and construction methodology β on projects ranging from smaller builds right through to large-scale developments, including mining camps.
His priorities in the first 90 days: Driving efficiency through the design department, improving the documentation clients receive from us, and helping shape a clear estimating direction for the future. His overall goal is to help drive manufacturing and hire output within the region.
Outside of work: Andrew and his wife are passionate collectors of classic Australian chrome-bumper muscle cars β you'll often find them at car shows or 'Coffee and Chrome' days when they're not out for a nice dinner.
Get in touch: If you're in Adelaide and want to say g'day β whether you're a customer, supplier, or just keen to chat modular β Andrew would love to hear from you: [email protected]
Welcome aboard, Andrew. South Australia is in good hands.
