Planning for the 2026/27 season is well underway, and over the coming weeks Northern Territory Rugby Union (NTRU) will be sharing important updates to help players, parents, coaches, officials and volunteers prepare for Round 1.

Rugby Australia has announced the next instalment of the National Club Development Webinar Series.

The National Club Development Webinar Series supports club volunteers by building capability in key areas of club development. Delivered by Rugby Australia staff and industry experts, the webinars delivered will focus on the foundations of a strong, sustainable, and well-managed club. The series will include four monthly 30-minute webinars, plus an additional video library of other club development topics available for you on-demand.

Topic: Supporting Clubs to Manage Finances and Generate Revenue

The 30-minute webinar with Rugby Australia's Club Development Manager, Jack Heffernan will explore how to develop budgets, manage finances, and generate revenue as a Community Rugby Club.

As our 2026 Representative Program comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who helped make it such a memorable journey.

To our incredible players, thank you for wearing the NT jersey with pride. You represented the Territory with heart, resilience and sportsmanship every time you stepped onto the field.

A huge thank you to our coaches, managers, support staff, sports trainers and officials. The countless hours you dedicated behind the scenes made this experience possible for every player.

To our parents and families, thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement and the sacrifices you made throughout the journey. We couldn’t do it without you.
