The 2027 Northern Territory Sports Awards celebrate the people whose dedication, leadership and achievements strengthen Territory sport, from grassroots competitions to the national and international stage.

If someone has inspired others, strengthened their club or made a difference in their community, now is the time to recognise them.

A big shout out to Adam from Knock.on media for coming down to hang out on the sidelines last week and capture a few images of our Colts. There is just a few weeks left until they travel to compete at the Australian Rugby Shield (ARS) in Victoria.

The NTRU Youth Girls Development Program continues to run on Sundays from 4pm.

The program is the perfect opportunity for girls born 2009–2013 to build their skills, confidence and game awareness in a fun, supportive environment.

Whether you’re looking to develop your game or just want to get involved, we’d love to see you there!

Join us on Monday afternoons from 6pm–7pm at NTRU for a fun, supportive session for girls and women who are new to rugby and returning players are welcome too!

We’ll work on confidence, connection, catch and pass skills, evasion and game play. No experience needed, just bring your boots, water bottle and a willingness to have a crack!

NTRU is looking for enthusiastic Casual Game Activators to help deliver our junior rugby programs on Friday evenings.

If you’re 15+, great with kids and keen to get involved in the sporting industry, we’d love to hear from you! No experience necessary — full training will be provided.
