Took a break from editing Northern Territory Football League premier league photographs on Sunday morning to grab a coffee at Woodroffe Oval and cheer on the Under 13 Buffs and Crocs.

Just because you're wearing different guernseys doesn't mean you can't share a laugh.

Let us know in the comments, what is Kenidee McNamara saying to Alessia Smythe post-match?

Who doesn’t love a Sunday afternoon at the football.
NIGHTCLIFF TIGERS FC | NTFL and Wanderers FC Darwin went head to head in the Men’s and Women’s Northern Territory Football League Premier Leagues. The Tigers didn’t let their supporters down after claiming victories in their first home games of the season.

How good is it to have Northern Territory Football League back?
The games I covered had plenty of goals which meant we also had goal celebrations. There were plenty of one arm fist pumps making appearances, more than a few teammate hugs and the odd point in the air and a former-AFL player head rub.

Also a couple of historic celebrations with the first Banks Bulldogs FC goals kicked in the men’s and women’s premier league divisions by Riley Menzel and Sharna Edwards respectively.

Didn’t see any backflips or cart-wheels though but the season is still young and you can’t peak your goal celebration game too early.

The battle between Waratah Football Club full-back Rob Bartee and Southern Districts Football Club -SDFC Crocs forward Seth Smith in last night’s Northern Territory Football League premier league match alone was worth the price of admission.

Who’s ready for some football action?
Preseason is officially over and the start of the 2026-27 Northern Territory Football League season is here. It is going to be a busy weekend behind the lens as I head to TIO for Southern Districts Football Club -SDFC Crocs v Waratah Football Club on Saturday, followed by a Sunday afternoon at Gardens Oval for Banks Bulldogs FC first foray into the Premier League against PINTFC

Let’s go!
