People of the Wharf ✨
As we celebrate 40 years at the Wharf, we're introducing you to the extraordinary people who call it home. Today, meet Caití Ellen Carpenter.
Originally from the UK, Caití trained at Rambert School, performed with Rambert2 alongside some of the world's most exciting choreographers, and in January 2026, she joined Sydney Dance Company. We couldn't be more thrilled to have her.
When we asked what she loves most about Sydney Dance Company, her answer was immediate: the people. "Everyone is so lovely, together and caring - I would happily go for coffee with anyone in the company."
That spirit of genuine care, inclusivity and shared purpose is what makes this place extraordinary. And it is exactly what 40 Years at the Wharf: The Next Steps is here to protect and invest in for the next 40 years.
