Don’t forget. Working Bee this Sunday.

All hands on deck before our first race meeting
after a long wet off season the venue needs a little
TLC.

The track team have done an amazing job finishing the next stage of the wall and toilets. Now it’s time to get the other odd jobs done.

Many hands make light work. So come on down and cut some grass, trim some shrubs or help with the general odd jobs.

The hard work has been done and we now just need the finishing touches to get us ready for a cracker season.

OPENING MEETING CANCELLED.

Unfortunately due to a lack of nominations and wet conditions, the Committee has had to make the hard decision to cancel the Opening Meeting.

This decision has not been made lightly and all factors have been considered.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we are making the call early so everyone can be well informed and alter plans.

We will regroup, monitor the grounds and track conditions and will continue on with the calendar where the opening race meeting will be on October 18.

Fingers crossed.

Thanks to everyone who attended the working bee yesterday.

Even though we had 3mm of rain while we were there, we got a heap of jobs done.

Jobs included

Finishing off new toilet block
Vehicle services
Finishing back straight wall
Track turnover
Canteen improvements
General cleanup
Painting

SATURDAY & SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 12TH & 13TH 2026

Yep. The new season is here. It’s been a quick off season but it’s time to get back into racing.

ALL CLASSES WILL RUN THROUGH THE DOGLEG. TRANSPONDERS WILL BE USED THIS MEETING.

Nominations have now been opened for our Opening Race Meeting for September 12 & 13 2026. 11.00am Start time.
We will be starting at 11am.

Pits close at 10.00am. Drivers talk will be at 10.30am.

One of our club officials will respond to your nomination once it is received and lodged.

VSC 1200 Juniors

Please note this will be a AASA permitted event and Speedway Australia licences and Pit Passes cannot be accepted as per Speedway Australia policies. This will be a full VSC sanctioned event.

As usual we will require a minimum of 6 nominations for the class to run on race day.

We will be monitoring the nomination list and the weather.
If either of these are a concern we will make a decision on these matters on Friday morning.

**AASA Permit Requirements
THIS IS NOW A CONDITION OF OUR PERMIT TO HOLD RACE MEETINGS.**

*All AASA Permitted events now require drivers and passengers to hold a AASA License.

There are several options.

**Option 1
Annual AASA Licence. Yearly from date of purchase
No medical requirement if you currently hold a Speedway Australia licence or a VSC drivers card.
**Cost $210 plus fees for seniors.
**$100 plus fees for juniors.

**Option 2
AASA Event bridging licence. Effectively a half price one day licence if you currently hold a current Speedway Australia licence or a current VSC driver card. NO LIMITS
Cost $33 plus fees.

**Option 3
AASA One day licence. Same as Speedway Australia and VSC one day licences. For competitors with no annual licence. LIMIT 2 PER SEASON
Cost $60 plus fees.

AASA annual Vintage Licence is available for $110 plus fees for the Ace of Spades.

Please note this is not a Daylesford or a VSC decision, this is a condition of permit. So this is out of our control.
Please don’t blame the club for having to enforce this.
