🔵🔴 WE'RE LOOKING FOR AN EQUIPMENT OFFICER! 🔵🔴

We’re looking for someone to take on the role of Equipment Officer on Friday nights for the upcoming season. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
The good news — you DON’T need to join the Committee! 🙌 and each Friday you help as Equipment Officer will count as your roster duty.
Ideally, we’d love to have the same person take ownership of the role each week, but we’re also very happy for two people to team up and alternate Fridays.

⏰ Fridays | 4:30pm – 6:30pm
The Equipments officers helps make sure everything is ready to go before our athletes hit the track. The role includes:
🔹 Checking the weekly program and getting the required equipment ready for the set-up crew at 5pm
🔹 Making sure equipment is safe and correctly set up at each event
🔹 Checking the oval, event areas and Long Jump pits are clear of debris
🔹 Sourcing replacement equipment from the sheds when required
🔹 Letting the Centre Manager know if anything needs repairing or replacing

You won’t be expected to set up the entire grounds yourself — the set-up crew distributes the equipment. Your role is to make sure they have the right gear ready to go.

It’s a practical, hands-on way to help the club, get your roster duties covered, and make a big difference to how smoothly our Friday nights run. ❤️💙

📢 IMPORTANT INFORMATION & REMINDERS

Please take a moment to familiarise yourselves with the following centre rules to help keep Bracken Ridge Little Athletics a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

🏟️ 1. ARENA ACCESS

During our Friday night meets, only authorised officials wearing the appropriate officials’ bibs and Tiny Tots parental supervisors are permitted inside the arena.

We ask all other parents, carers, athletes and spectators to remain outside the arena unless authorised to enter.

Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe competition environment for all athletes and officials.

🚭 2. TO***CO, VA**NG, DRUGS & ALCOHOL

Under Little Athletics Queensland (LAQ) policies, Bracken Ridge Little Athletics is a drug free, alcohol free and tobacco/vape free facility.

This means these items must not be sold, consumed or possessed on our grounds or within our facilities.

🐾 3. ANIMAL FREE FACILITY

Bracken Ridge Little Athletics is an animal free facility, with the exception of approved service animals.

Service animals must display an approved identification badge on their coat or harness.

Unfortunately, non service animals will be asked to leave the premises. This rule is in place to help protect the safety and wellbeing of our athletes, families, spectators and the animals themselves.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ 2026 HART REGIONAL RELAYS — NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN! ❤️💙
Regional Relays are coming up, and if you’re wondering what all the excitement is about — it’s one of the best opportunities for our Roadrunners to compete together as a TEAM!
Instead of athletics being all about individual performances, Regional Relays bring athletes together to represent Bracken Ridge Roadrunners across a range of track and field events. ❤️💙
Athletes from U7 through to U17 can get involved:
🏃 Track Relays — teams of 4 athletes, with events including 4x100m, Swedish and Distance Relays
🏅 Field Relays — athletes combine their performances across selected jumps and throws
🤝 Teamwork — compete alongside your fellow Roadrunners and represent our club
🏆 Pathway to State — Regional Relays are the qualifying pathway to the McDonald’s State Relay Championships
📅 Competition: Saturday 7 November 2026
📍 Venue: Arana Little Athletics
💰 Cost: $6 per athlete, per event
⏰ Club nominations close: Friday 23 October 2026

📣 IMPORTANT COLLECTION INFORMATION

Please read the following information carefully to ensure everyone can collect their orders smoothly.

🍪 Where to collect: As Friday night is also our photo night, there will be NO ACCESS INSIDE THE CLUBHOUSE for collections. Please come to the canteen ordering section and let us know you are collecting a cookie dough order. Our team will then retrieve your order for you.

❄️ Collection is required on Friday night: Unfortunately, we do not have the fridge or freezer facilities to store uncollected orders after collection night. If you are unable to collect your order yourself, please arrange for someone else to collect it on your behalf.

🏃 families of competing Athletes: We are happy to keep orders inside the clubhouse until the end of the athletics night while athletes are competing. However, all orders must be collected by the end of the night. We cannot store any remaining orders after this time.

Again we kindly ask everyone to make alternative arrangements if they cannot collect during the allocated time, as we simply don’t have the facilities to keep orders stored safely.
