Despite an overcast and drizzly morning, the sun has finally made an appearance and it's great to see swimmers back in the water on our first day reopening! ☀️

We'll continue to provide regular daily temperature updates while we wait for our replacement heater to arrive in two weeks and will keep everyone updated on the installation progress.

🏊‍♀️ We're Reopening Tomorrow! 🏊‍♂️

We're excited to welcome everyone back to the centre tomorrow!

Unfortunately, we've experienced some unexpected technical difficulties with the heater for our heated pool. The good news is that a replacement heater has already been organised and is expected to be installed in two weeks.

At present, the pool temperature is sitting at 26°C.

To help you plan your visit, we'll be providing daily pool temperature updates and will keep our community informed on the progress of the heater replacement.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to get the pool back to its normal temperature as quickly as possible.

We look forward to seeing you back at the centre tomorrow!🏊‍♂️

☀️ Last Day of the Season! ☀️

Today marks the final day of our summer season at Deception Bay Aquatic Centre!

A big thank you to everyone who visited throughout the season — whether you were swimming laps, bringing the kids down, or just enjoying the space, you helped make it a great season.

We hope you’ve had an amazing summer with us, and we can’t wait to welcome you back when we reopen on September 1st, 2026.
