Or maybe you have a brilliant canteen idea we haven’t thought of!

We’re looking for someone who would love to take on the Friday Night Canteen Coordinator role for the season.

The job includes:
🛒 Getting the canteen ready before athletes hit the track
🍔 Serving up the goodies during the night
📦 Keeping an eye on stock
🧹 Cleaning and packing up afterwards
🙌 Helping make the canteen a fun part of Friday nights at DBLA!

You don’t need to be a professional chef — just someone who is organised, friendly and happy to get involved! 😁

Don’t miss your chance to be part of one of the highlights of the Little Athletics season, happening Saturday 19 September at the Bundaberg Region Athletics Facility.

Open to all LAQ registered U7–U17 Little Athletics Queensland athletes, regardless of ability, the carnival is a fantastic opportunity to: Chase a new PB, try a new event, compete alongside friends and enjoy an exciting carnival atmosphere!

Athletes can nominate for up to four events.

A number of free Introduction to Officiating Workshops are being held across Queensland over the next eight weeks thanks to Little Athletics Queensland

These workshops are a great opportunity for parents and volunteers to learn the basics of officiating and build their confidence in helping at weekly competitions.

If you’re coming along to our Sign-On tonight from 6pm–8pm, please take note of the following:

🚗 Parking: Please park in the far car park.
🚶‍♀️ Access to the clubhouse: Walk between the shed and the toilet block, where you’ll find the footpath leading into the clubhouse.

⚠️ Please take care: There is still construction work happening around the clubhouse, so please watch your step and be mindful of any debris on the ground.
⚠️ And all children are to keep off oval please.

Get ready for one of the highlights of the season! The Coles Spring Carnival nominations are Now Open.

The Coles Spring Carnival is open to all registered U7–U17 Little Athletics Queensland athletes, regardless of ability. Athletes can nominate for up to four events, making it the perfect opportunity to experience a larger competition while having fun with friends and family.

The carnival will be held on Saturday 19 September 2026 at the Bundaberg Region Athletics Facility, Enid Ethel Drive.

Whether you're chasing a new PB, trying a new event, or simply enjoying the carnival atmosphere, there's something for everyone!
