2024 Burton Automotive King of the Box After being postponed on the original dates in October, the 2024 Burton Automotive King of the box is set for THIS SATURDAY, 14 December 2024.Both the surf and the weather are looking fantastic, ensuring a great experience for all competitors and spectators.There are still one or two spots available in a few different divisions, the link to the draw is here https://liveheats.com/events/260912 and will be updated on Thursday. Any late entries can simply pay direct to SurfingNewcastle.The event carries 2500 points on the Surfing Australia national Junior series, and it’s one of the last events of the 2024 calendar season.Prize money is up for grabs in both open men and open women’s division with $1000 for the winners.All other divisions have trophies and prizes.If you’re looking for somewhere to stay, please consider the Shoal Bay Country Club which has some fantastic & classy accommodation attached to it.
