Northern Beaches Roller Derby League

Words cannot express how full our hearts are, and the gratitude we feel after our inaugural Prissy in Pink Potluck. This was a day full of emotion for us, as we came together as a league, welcomed our incredible visiting skaters and truly embodied our beautiful friend Priss's spirit as we took to the track.

This day was about celebrating our new developing skaters, and oh my gosh, they were PHENOMENAL. Everyone really gave 100%, resulting in a nail-biting win for Priss's Pride (black) with a score of 205 to Bridey Brawlers' (white) 197 - just 8 points separating the two!

We raised $650 for The Cat Protection Society of NSW which will be donated in Priss's name. A solid effort by all, and we're excited to grow this event even more for next year.

Thank you Mark Zouroudis for capturing this day for us through these beautiful photos. You can tell from all the smiles just how much the day meant to everyone.

Got a pair of old skate wheels or a wheel bag gathering dust? We're building a wheel bank to help our Learn to Skate skaters get set up for their derby journey 🐾

Many new skaters start out with outdoor wheels, which make it much harder to learn basic skating skills on indoor surfaces. Donating your old gear helps lower the cost barrier to entry, making the sport more accessible to everyone starting out.

Drop off your donation at Prissy in Pink Potluck this Sunday and help a new skater start rolling.
