The Club Legend Award is one of the highest honours at the Deloraine Football Club, recognising outstanding dedication and service to our club over many years. 🦘

This year, we are incredibly proud to recognise Helen Smith as our newest Club Legend. 🤍

For more than 20 years, Helen has been at the heart of the Deloraine Football Club. Throughout that time, she has held numerous positions on the committee, including being the club’s longest-serving Secretary, while also organising countless functions and social events. Her tireless work behind the scenes has helped shape the club into what it is today. Her commitment, generosity and willingness to always lend a hand have made a lasting impact on players, members and supporters alike.

Helen’s contribution to the Deloraine Football Club extends far beyond what most people see. Her dedication, passion and unwavering service embody everything this award stands for, making her a truly deserving recipient of Club Legend status. 🙌🏽

This special award is given in memory of our dear friend Terry and honours a player who gives 100% effort, shows persistence, and supports their teammates, someone who never gives up and always puts the club first.
Hannah has embodied these qualities throughout the season, consistently leading by example with her determination, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to her teammates and the Deloraine Football Club. Her positive attitude, willingness to support those around her, and dedication both on and off the field make her a truly deserving recipient of this award and a wonderful reflection of Terry’s spirit, care and kindness. 🤍

The Steve ‘Farmer’ Earley Award recognises a player who consistently puts the team first, demonstrating commitment, selflessness, leadership, and the ability to bring out the best in those around them.
This year, we are proud to present the award to Shawn Williams. Throughout the season, Shawn has led by example with his professionalism and dedication. Shawn did his ACL at the beginning of the season, but continued to show up, to support the Club, and his teammates. His commitment to the club, and contribution both on and off the field make him a truly deserving recipient of this honour. 🦘

This year, we were lucky enough to have two Club Person of the Year Awards, with this honour also going to Don and Sandra Tracey.

Don and Sandra have been unwavering supporters of our club, always giving their time to help wherever it is needed. Whether it’s working tirelessly in the canteen on game days, lending a hand with committee responsibilities, or stepping in to help with anything and everything behind the scenes, they are always there to support our players, volunteers, and club community. Their commitment, generosity, and willingness to go above and beyond have made an incredible contribution to the Deloraine Football Club. 🦘
