Saints United Basketball Club

The Saints United Basketball Club are seeking expressions of interest from players to form our first playing group in Launceston.
We are currently based in Hobart and have a larger player base.

Congratulations to all players who represented the Saints United Mixed Basketball Squad who won the 1st YCW Hobart Mixed Basketball Roster against the Wildcats 46 to 39 !!!

This is a defining moment that I am very proud to be playing a key role in womens basketball.
Basketball is a big part of my life which began as a child playing before I volunteered as a referee at fifteen years old.
34 years still going strong !!!

Womens Roster Match
It is great pleasure to announce that this coming Wednesday the 6th of April we will play our first womens match on the bottom court at the Moonah Sports Centre commencing at 7.00pm

I am a proud basketball coach after guiding my beloved club to a crucial win therefore keeping us in the hunt of a finals berth later in the roster.
We have 3 wins and two losses after this latest result, lets go Saints United !!!

Moneyball League
Come along to the Moonah Sports Centre this coming Saturday the 18th of September to support Saints United play their round three match at 6.00pm.

The following photo showcases the first ever Starting Five players who represented Saints United in the MoneyBall League.

As Coach of the Saints United Basketball Club who play in the newly formed MoneyBall League it is pleasing to report that we have won our first match 55 to 35.
Hampered by missing players the five players who played all contributed as one from the start giving the club plenty to be confident about in upcoming matches.
There are some aspects which will require fine tuning however the game plan looks solid pending the availability of key players such as Jeremy Calvert, Brock Davis, Jye Nichols and our first pick in Daniel Watkins
We also hope that big man Jason Laycock returns from the leg injury sustained in the first half of the first match in quick time as his height proved to be a big factor inside the key.
