Tadpoles to frogs learn to swim

It’s coming up 20 years since I trained to become an Austswim Instructor 😊
I brought my baby Jye here to 9 Harcon Crt for swimming lessons with Donna Langworthy, he was 8 months old and I was determined he would learn how to swim and love the water just like me . We were a few weeks into the term when Donna asked me if I was a swimmer , she said you have very broad shoulders would you like a job ? Lol yes that’s where it all began 😊
Donna sold the pool in 2008, we tried hiring a few other pools around Devonport with not much luck , so when Harcon Crt came up for sale we had to look and see if we could buy it , so in 2010 she became ours .
I was so proud to say I had my own business at my home and it was thriving , as Jye and Toby got older I was able to teach more and now I am at my limit and so happy with what I have achieved 🥰
Thank you to Donna for seeing the potential in me to be a teacher , my competitive back ground has definitely taught me a lot as well .
Thankyou to Jason for helping me buy the pool and supporting me through the journey of running my own business and always helping me fix all the dramas along the way like the donkey in the skimmer box 🤦‍♀️
Thankyou to everyone who has supported me , allowed me to teach your children , listened to me whine how hard it can be lol 😂
Hopefully I’ve got another 20 years in me with all the love and support I have had for the last 20 years ❤️

September Term
Monday 31st August till Saturday 5th December.
No lessons in the school holidays or the long weekend in November for recreation day , but there will be lessons on the Devonport show weekend .
11 Monday and Saturdays
12 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 😊
