Thanks today to those who turned up for our annual Bowls Club Clean Up Day. Anne and Marg represented the ladies and many of the men turned up and all did a great job.

PRESIDENT'S UPDATE
Dear Members,
As we prepare for another exciting season, I am delighted to share some fantastic news. For the first time in many years, Diamond Creek Bowling Club will be fielding four Saturday Pennant teams this season.
In addition, we will once again be entering two Midweek Pennant teams, maintaining the strong participation and support we enjoyed last season. Having both a healthy Saturday and Midweek Pennant presence is a great sign of the club's continued growth and provides more opportunities for members to enjoy competitive bowls.
This is a wonderful achievement for our club and a reflection of the growth in playing numbers, the strength of our membership, and the positive culture we have built together. However, with four Saturday Pennant teams and two Midweek Pennant teams entered, it is vital that we have the support and commitment of all members throughout the season.
I encourage every member, whether you are a long-time pennant player, returning to the game, or considering pennant for the first time, to make yourself available to play as often as possible. Having enough players each week will be critical to ensuring we can field all our teams and remain competitive throughout the season. Your commitment will help make this historic milestone a success for our club.
As we get ready for the season, I would also like to remind everyone of several important upcoming events, attendance lists will be up on our noticeboard shortly.
Clean Up Day
Sunday 30 August – 9am
This is a great opportunity for members to come together and help prepare our facilities and surrounds for the season ahead. Many hands make light work, and any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Season Launch Lunch & Club Triples Championship
Sunday 13 September – 9am
This promises to be a fantastic day for our club as we officially launch the new season, enjoy lunch together, and contest our annual Club Triples Championship. I encourage all members to come along, enjoy the day, and help celebrate the start of what promises to be an exciting season.
Men’s and Ladies Club Championships
Sunday 8 November – 9am
Keep an eye out for details of an exciting change to our Men's and Ladies Club Championships this season. We will be introducing a new format, with the opening stage consisting of a group round robin, giving more members the opportunity to play multiple championship games before the knockout rounds commence.
The round robin matches are scheduled for Sunday 8 November, so please mark this date in your calendars. Further details on the format, groups and playing arrangements will be communicated in the lead up to the event.
And finally, don’t forget every Friday night we have our Members Draw and Raffle at 6.30pm, come down, grab a drink and some snacks, and share a few laughs with other members.
Thank you for your ongoing support. I look forward to seeing you at the club.
GO CREEKERS.
Cheers

PRESIDENT'S UPDATE
It's not quite Spring yet, but not too long until we start preparing for the upcoming Pennant Season.
Fantastic to see big numbers at our Tuesday and Saturday Social Bowls, big thanks to Jack Davies for organising these matches every week, and welcome to all our new members.
Keep a look out for dates for our upcoming Clean Up Day and our Season Launch, which will again include our Club Triples Championship and Lunch.
I'm excited to announce Diamond Creek Bowling Club has a new and improved website with a host of brand-new member features!
The new site is designed to provide a centralised hub for our members — making it easier to access the information and resources you need, and keep up with what’s happening at the club.
A massive thank you to Steve Abbey, who is the mastermind of our new website, and has spent countless hours creating this.
Prior to the website going live, Steve will be holding two short presentations at the club this week:
• Friday 31 July at 6:00pm
• Saturday 1 August at 11:00am
Steve will give you a quick tour of the new website, show you the new member features and how to access them, and answer any questions you may have.
I'll love to see you there!
GO CREEKERS.
Cheers
