Today, our AFL Academy students had the fantastic opportunity to take part in a Q&A session with Anthony Rocca, Head Coach of the U18 Northern Knights.

Anthony shared valuable insights into the pathway to being drafted, discussing what coaches and recruiters look for when identifying and selecting players.

It was a great opportunity for our students to gain a deeper understanding of the AFL pathway, the expectations of recruiters, and what it takes to reach the next level.

A big thank you to Anthony for sharing his knowledge and experience with our aspiring AFL players!

What an amazing opportunity for our Netball Academy students on Friday!

Our athletes had the privilege of helping umpire the Primary School Grade 3 & 4 Netball Day, putting their umpiring skills into practice while supporting our younger players.

It was fantastic to see them step up, show confidence and take on this valuable leadership opportunity. They should be extremely proud of their efforts!

Our Year 8 Academy students had the pleasure of listening to Tara Kinder speak about her journey as an Australian swimmer.

Tara shared the highs and lows of elite sport, the challenges she has faced along the way, and the determination required to pursue and achieve a childhood dream.

We would like to thank Tara for giving up her time to speak with our athletes and for sharing her experiences, insights and inspiration with our students.

A huge congratulations to our Year 7 and Year 8 Netball teams on an outstanding day at the SSV State Finals! Top 8 in the State is an amazing effort. 🏆

Both teams represented our school with incredible skill, determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. We are so proud of the way they competed, supported one another and gave it their all on the court.

A massive congratulations to our year 7 team who were awarded the School Sport Victoria (SSV) Spirit of Sport Award, which honours schools that display outstanding sportsmanship, positive attitudes, and fair play.

Thank you to all our family and friends who came to support our students today. We truly appreciate your love and support! ❤️

🏐💙 TOP 4 IN THE STATE! 💙🏐

What a day for our Junior Netball Team, who competed at the Netball Victoria School Championships Finals Day and produced an outstanding performance!

The girls went through the day undefeated, finishing top of their pool and progressing through to the Semi Finals — officially making them TOP 4 IN THE STATE! 🔥👏

Unfortunately, the girls went down in a tight Semi Final against the eventual Champions of the day. While the result wasn’t quite what we hoped for, the girls should be incredibly proud of the way they competed, represented our school and fought right until the final whistle.

💙 We are so proud of every player and this incredible achievement!

And they’re not done yet… 👀

The girls will back it up this Friday at the School Sport Victoria Netball Finals Day, where they will compete for the title of SSV Champions, after winning the Regionals last week! 🏆

What an incredible few weeks for this team. Bring on Friday! 💪🏐💙

Congratulations girls — you’ve done yourselves and DVC proud! 🎉
