Dicky Beach SLSC Nippers Nippers at Dicky Beach offers a fun active lifestyle choice for children aged 5 to 13, as well as a solid base for competition in surf sports.

Our nippers are taught everything from sun & surf safety, beach sprints, board paddling & lifesaving skills!

Each year at Currimundi State School's annual Beach Carnival, one lucky student is awarded a Dicky Beach SLSC Nippers family membership, generously donated by Ray White Caloundra 🙌

This year’s winner was Lainey T, and as you can see, she’s absolutely loving Nippers! 😀

🌊💛 Nippers is about so much more than just the beach!

Today, our U11s and U12s were learning some basic first aid skills! 🩹👏

At Nippers, we don’t just teach our kids how to be confident in the water, read the surf and stay safe on the beach. We also help them build important life skills, including how to respond when someone needs help.

It’s wonderful to see our young Nippers learning, growing and gaining knowledge that they can carry with them beyond the beach. Who knows, one day these little lessons might make a big difference! 🥰

Rainbow Beach is always one of the most fun carnivals of the season, and it’s our FIRST carnival of the season too! Don’t miss out!

🏖️💚 Congratulations to our newest lifesavers! 💚🏖️

A huge congratulations to all of our amazing Dicky Beach Nippers who completed their Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) camp today! 👏🏻

It’s so special to watch our Nippers grow from learning the basics on the beach and in the water, to developing the skills, confidence and knowledge to become qualified lifesavers. 🌊

We are incredibly proud of every one of you and all the hard work, commitment and teamwork you’ve shown throughout your training. 💪🏻

A very special thank you to our amazing coaches, trainers, mentors and volunteers who give their time to support and guide our young members every step of the way. ❤️

And to our newest lifesavers, congratulations on this fantastic achievement and welcome to the patrol team! We can’t wait to see you continue your surf lifesaving journey and help keep our Dicky Beach community safe. 🏖️🌊

Nippers isn’t just about the water! If your Nipper enjoys running, beach activities and being active on the sand, come and check out our Beach Squad. 🏖️🏃‍♂️

Training is held every Monday and Friday. Please see the poster for all the details.

🌊 What a wonderful start to our Nippers season! 💙

It was so exciting to see all the new faces, our littlest Nippers, and of course our returning Nippers coming together again. Seeing all the families reunited, so many happy smiles and everyone enjoying the morning together was just lovely. ☀️🌊

A big welcome to all our new families, and we can’t wait to see everyone again next weekend!
