**IMPORTANT SAFETY MESSAGE**
SDNA wanted to make an announcement to our netball community about keeping safe while at our netball courts.
Over the past two weeks, there has been a report of a man that has followed two of our netballers from their bus stop, to the netball courts where they have netball training. This man has then continued to watch them whilst training. He has also approached them whilst on their own to try to have conversations with them, that are inappropriate.
This matter has been referred to the police.
But we would like to ask all our SDNA parents / members to have conversations with their children about being aware of strangers and any suspicious behaviours that they should look out for.
And if anyone feels unsafe anytime, they should seek help from an adult at the netball courts. Or if in danger, call 000.
Please donโt hesitate to contact the SDNA committee or myself if you have any queries.
Thanks
