The club was established in 1958 but waited until the following year to join the Caulfield-Oakleigh Football League. When the league merged with the Eastern Suburbian FL to form the South East Suburbian FL, the club was allocated to B Grade. They made the Grand Final in 1994 and defeated Cranbourne by 24 points.

1995 saw the SWGFL get absorbed into the Mornington Peninsula Nepean FL and Dingley continued in this competition until the end of 2006. The club had limited success, having only making the finals on one occasion. In 2007 the club decided to move to the Southern Football League. The club competed in 2nd Division and won the flag in 2008. The Club has competed in 1st Division since 2009. Div 2 2007 Runner up

2027 DINGLEY FOOTBALL NETBALL CLUB HEAD COACH ANNOUNCEMENT 🐕

SENIOR NETBALL HEAD COACHES

We’re thrilled to announce Monique and Jasmine Lefebure as our Senior Netball Co-Head Coaches for the 2027 season!

Our Club Captain, A1 Captain and multiple premiership player, Monique, is stepping up to take the reins next season. With an impressive resume that includes 17 & Under Assistant State Coach, Hawks VNL 23 & Under Coach, and plenty of support across our teams throughout 2026, we couldn’t be happier to have someone with her experience leading our program as she takes over from her best mate, AJ!

Joining Monique is Jasmine Lefebure, who joined Dingley this year to coach our A3 side, leading them to a preliminary final in her debut season at the club! Jas brings an impressive coaching resume, including her role as a scholarship coach at Melbourne University Lightning in 2026. In 2027, she’ll also step into a Co-Coach role with the Hawks VNL Reserves, alongside taking on the Co-Head Coach role at Dingley.
We couldn’t be more excited to have these two leading our senior netball program into 2027. With their experience, passion and knowledge, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for Dingley Netball under their leadership!

Congratulations, Mon and Jas!

THANK YOU AJ BALLANTYNE 🙌

After 10 seasons as Head Coach, it’s time to say a massive thank you to AJ Ballantyne.

Since 2017, AJ has played a huge role in shaping Dingley Netball into the program it is today. Multiple A1 premierships, multiple SFNL Coach of the Year awards, Interleague coaching and, most importantly, helping build our program to a huge 10 teams.

But AJ’s impact goes far beyond the accolades. He has been an incredible mentor and leader to our coaches and players, and a huge advocate for women’s sport, always pushing for our players and program to receive the opportunities and recognition they deserve.

So much of the work behind the scenes simply wouldn’t be possible without AJ. The growth of our program and the legacy he leaves behind are a testament to the time, effort and passion he has given this club.

After 10 seasons at the helm, AJ is stepping down to spend more time with his family, while taking on an exciting new opportunity as Vixens Reserves Assistant Coach for 2027.

We’re lucky that he’ll still be around the Den throughout 2027, offering his support on game days wherever he can.

AJ, thank you for 10 seasons of leadership, countless hours behind the scenes, the wins, the lessons and everything you’ve done for Dingley Netball.

We wish you all the best for this next chapter. Enjoy the extra time with your family and embrace this amazing opportunity. We’ll see you around the Den! ❤️🐕
