🏆 GRAND FINAL GLORY FOR DONNYBROOK 🏆
Under finals pressure at Huscisson Reserve, Donnybrook Senior Sat 2 delivered a composed and clinical chase to claim the North Division – Dalrymple Shield premiership, running down Kallo Koalas CC Giants’ 9/149 with authority to finish 5/152 in just 30.2 overs.

Kallo set a competitive target after grinding their way to 149 from 35 overs, but Donnybrook never allowed the game to drift. The chase was measured early, then decisive—built on partnerships, smart strike rotation, and the confidence of a side that knew the job was theirs to finish. When the winning runs were struck, it wasn’t just a victory—it was a statement.

This was a performance that defined a season: resilience, discipline, and belief when it mattered most. From the first ball to the last, Donnybrook played like a premiership team.

After a fantastic season built on hard work, commitment and team-first cricket, our Donnybrook Senior Saturday 2 side has earned its place in the North Division Dalrymple Shield Grand Final.
This Saturday, the Brookers take on Kallo Koalas CC Giants in what promises to be a thrilling contest, with both teams looking to finish their season as premiers.
Throughout the season, this group has shown resilience, determination and an incredible team spirit. From match-winning batting performances to disciplined bowling displays and outstanding fielding efforts, every player has contributed to getting the team to this stage.

🏏 Match-Winning All-Round Performance from Bikramjit Singh! 🏏
Bikramjit Singh delivered when it mattered most for Donnybrook Senior Saturday 2 in their Dalrymple Shield clash against Mernda United Senior Mixed, producing a superb all-round display to help guide the Brookers to victory.
Coming to the crease under pressure, Bikramjit played a composed and responsible innings of 42 runs from 60 balls, helping build the foundation for Donnybrook's total and ensuring the team remained in control throughout the innings.
He then backed it up brilliantly with the ball, producing outstanding figures of 3 wickets for 22 runs from 6 overs at an economy rate of just 3.66. His ability to take key wickets while keeping the scoring rate under control proved crucial in swinging the match firmly in Donnybrook's favour.
Performances like this are the definition of an all-rounder's contribution — leading from the front with both bat and ball and stepping up when the team needed it most.
