The Donvale Tennis Club was formed in 1965 and has a proud history as one of Victoria’s finest. The club was awarded Metropolitan Club of the Year by Tennis Victoria in 2004. There are 6 excellently maintained en-tout-cas courts plus 4 state of the art artificial clay courts. They do not require the same level of maintenance nor do they require watering. In the wetter months, these courts can be played on immediately after rain due to the drainage capabilities of the surface. 8 courts, including the clay courts, are lit for night play. The double-storey clubhouse features a lounge, television, bar facilities, fully equipped kitchen, toilets and showers, junior games room, barbecue facilities, a practice wall and ample car parking well away from any roadway. The total number of members is just over 390, many of whom reside in the Donvale and Doncaster area. It is estimated that some 15,000 people pass through the club each year
