We’re looking for some talented local performers to help us celebrate at the Southlakes Roosters 2026 Presentation Day on Sunday 27 September! ❤️💙🐓

We’d love to hear from young, aspiring local artists, whether you’re a solo performer, duo or part of a band, who would love the opportunity to perform live at our event.

It’s a great chance to showcase your talent in front of our Roosters community and be part of a huge day celebrating our players and families.

🩷 HJRL COACH OF THE YEAR – FEMALE TEAMS 🩷

At tonight’s HJRL Presentation Night we were lucky enough to witness our own Tiffany Willmott be named the 2026 Junior Rugby League Coach of the Year – Female Teams!

Tiff’s impact on our Under 12 Women’s Tackle team this season has gone far beyond what happens on the football field. She has built a remarkable team, created a place where her girls feel supported and connected, and shown extraordinary leadership through what has been an incredibly difficult year.

Following the heartbreaking loss of Ali, Tiff courageously supported and guided her girls through something no junior sporting team should ever have to navigate, while continuing to show up for them with strength, compassion and an unwavering commitment to each and every player.

We nominated Tiff because we believed she deserved to be recognised for everything she has given to her girls, our Club, and the female game. Tonight, HJRL agreed 🥹

Tiff, we could not be prouder of you. This one is so incredibly well deserved. 🐓🫶

💙❤️ ROOSTERS GAME DAY ❤️💙

Wishing the Central Coast Roosters the very best of luck as they take on the Mounties in today’s NSW Premiership Competition knockout semi-final!

We’re especially proud to see two of our very own Southlakes Roosters lead the way.

🏈Head Coach Nathan Anderson is a proud Roosters dad to Audrey, who scored a try in yesterday’s Under 14WT Div 2 Grand Final win over Valentine, and Lola from our Under 9 White team.

🏈Alongside him is Assistant Coach Adam Bryant, our very own Coaching Coordinator and dad to Bam from our Under 15s and Kieki from our Under 12 Girls.

Good luck to Nathan, Adam and the entire Central Coast Roosters team. We’ll be cheering you on!

Thank you for everything you do to get our kids to training and onto the field throughout the season. Whether you’re coaching, volunteering, driving them around or cheering from the sideline, it’s beautiful to see you showing up for your kids.

🩷 UNDER 14WT DIVISION 2 - GRAND FINAL 🩷

Here it is folks. Our Grand Final team!

These are the girls who will proudly represent the Southlakes Roosters in the Under 14 Women’s Tackle Division 2 Grand Final this Saturday 🫶

They have trained together. They have played for each other. They have celebrated the wins and supported each other through the tough moments. Now they get the opportunity to take the field together one more time with a Grand Final on the line.

To our entire Roosters family and the wider Southlakes community we are asking you to get behind our girls. Leave them some love and encouragement in the comments below or better yet come along on Saturday and stand proudly on the sideline.

We cannot wait to watch these girls take the field. We are so immensely proud of every single one of them and everything they have achieved this season 🙌

A huge thank you also to Junior and the entire coaching and support team including Leki and Naomi, and our trainers, Dave, Tony, and Damon for everything you have given to these girls throughout the season. And to the families behind them who have driven them to training and games and supported and celebrated them every step of the way. Thank you 🙏

🩷 UNDER 14WT - MEET OUR FORWARDS 🩷

We’ve met our backs and our halves and now it’s time to meet the engine room of our Under 14WT Grand Final team: our forwards!

Forwards do plenty of the tough work in rugby league. They carry the ball into the defensive line and fight for metres. They make tackle after tackle and help create the space their teammates need to attack. It takes strength and determination and a willingness to keep turning up for your team.

Hear what their trainer Dave has to say about these girls as they prepare for Saturday’s Grand Final.

💪Amity
This young girl adapts to everything us coaches and trainers throw at her so well. She is another sweet and smiley young girl with a big heart.

💪Rara
The leader of our pack, and the gentle giant. But make no mistake, she is an absolute force to be reckoned with.

💪Lily
She has been our ho**er for the entire season and has played the position exceptionally well. She is always willing to learn and puts her team first.

💪Cruz
Another leader of our pack, and one of the most versatile and strongest players in the team. She has filled a number of positions throughout the season ranging from six to prop and back to lock - she defends like no other!

💪Harmony
My daughter ❤️ First year playing, making me a super proud dad. She's very strong and another one of our girls who has come so far. Sometimes, she listens her dad.

💪Paige
Such a sweet and gentle soul, but when on the field she is unstoppable. She has come so far since the start of the season, and everyone is super proud of her achievements.

💪Holly
Another first-year player, she has come into this team and exceeded all expectations. She is another strong forward for the pack.

🩷 UNDER 14WT - OUR HALVES 🩷

Next up as we get to know our Under 14WT Grand Finalists are the two firecrackers in the halves: Brontë and Taz!

The halfback and five-eighth are the playmakers of a rugby league team. They read what is happening in front of them and help direct the attack by creating opportunities and making those important decisions with the ball. Communication and decision-making under pressure are a huge part of the job🔥

And according to their officials these two certainly bring plenty of personality to the job!

💪Brontë | Five-eighth
Loves to be a lil' dramatic. Always wants to learn but is often too quiet to ask. When she gets angry, Brondawgz comes out!

💪Tazmyn | Halfback
The most talented player in the comp. Very quiet and humble around the coaches but turns into a completely different person on the field.

Two very different personalities and one very important combination 🙌

Wishing Brontë and Taz all the very best as they take control of the halves this Saturday. Trust yourselves and each other and enjoy every second of your Grand Final. Your Club will be right there behind you!

🩷 UNDER 14WT: THE BACKS!! 🩷

Hear what our Under 14WT officials have to say about our backs and get to know the team as they prepare for the Under 14WT Division 2 Grand Final this weekend!

These girls are ready to take the field and represent the Roosters. Here is what their officials have to say about them:

💪Stella | Fullback
First year playing rugby league and playing like she's played for years. A star in the making. Her attitude on and off the field and at training is always top notch!

💪Maddie | Wing
Quiet and humble, but when it's game day, she turns it on puts her body on the line for her team.

💪Isla | Centre
Most underrated player in the team. She has scored 11 tries totalling a massive 44 points for the season and not to mention her defence is second-to-none. She is always willing to learn and takes on every opportunity.

💪Audrey | Centre
Has come so far from the start of the season. She rises to every occasion, she is always smiling, and nothing ever fazes her. Another quiet and humble player.

💪Evvie | Wing
A late recruit but has come into our team and achieved so much in so little time. She loves to give us stick at training - she's such a strong and gifted player.

💪Ruby | Wing
Ruby/big guns as we call her. The smallest of them all but has a huge heart, and she's always willing to learn.

💪Isabella | Wing (injured)
Despite being ruled out for the remainder of the season due to injury, Isabella has shown so much heart. She continues to support and encourage her teammates and remains an important part of this team.

Wishing all of our backs the very best as they take the field this Saturday. Back yourselves and each other and enjoy every moment of your Grand Final. Your Club is incredibly proud of you! 🫶
