🔥 U/16 Assistant Coach Announcement - Brad Peterson💪
The Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Peterson as Assistant Coach for the 2027 season, accompanied by his family.
With a strong background in local sports, Brad brings a wealth of experience as a coach at the Junior Club and in local basketball.
He will join the Senior Club alongside his son, Jack, who is eager to take on the challenge of Gippsland League Football and contribute to the team's success alongside his friends.
When asked about his decision to join the Senior Club, Brad stated :
"Jack played some footy on permit this season for Drouin in the U16s, and even though the season was lean, the potential is there; we've seen it at the Junior Club. Drouin offers a family culture, it's a great facility, and the competition is super competitive, so the kids can really develop fast if they give it a go. I think it'll be a fun place for the kids to grow, have genuine individual opportunity, and play some great footy under strong coaching. We are really excited for what lies ahead."
Brad will work alongside Tim McGibney and our soon-to-be-announced Co-Coach. Please give Brad and the Peterson Family a warm welcome to the Nest!
