Big smiles all round as we kick off Term 3 Learn to Swim! 😄🌊
It’s been fantastic welcoming all of our swimmers back for another exciting term in the pool!
You may have noticed our team wearing blue this week, along with our blue balloons, colouring-in competition and information table throughout the facility.
We’re proud to be supporting World Drowning Prevention Day this Saturday, 25 July, and helping raise awareness about the importance of water safety and learning to swim.
Every conversation, every lesson and every child who learns a new skill helps spread the message that learning to swim is a lifesaving skill.
If we can encourage more families in the Dubbo community to enrol their children in swimming lessons and understand the importance of water safety, then we’re doing exactly what we set out to do. 💙
Here’s to another fantastic term of building confidence, creating smiles and teaching skills for life! 🏊

We’re Turning the Swim School BLUE! 🌊💙
From Monday 20th July – Saturday 25th July, for our first week back of LTS, Dubbo RSL Swim School will be turning BLUE to support World Drowning Prevention Day 2026 and help raise awareness about water safety.
Drowning is one of the leading causes of accidental death in children and young people, but the good news is it’s preventable.
Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing important water safety messages, encouraging conversations about drowning prevention, and reminding our swimmers and families that learning to swim is a skill for life.
There are many simple ways we can all help make our communities safer:
💙 Learn to swim
💙 Always supervise children around water
💙 Check pool fences and gates
💙 Wear a lifejacket when needed
💙 Learn CPR
💙 Be aware of water conditions
As we welcome everyone back for the first week of our Learn to Swim program, we’re proud to support this important initiative and help educate the next generation of safe and confident swimmers.
Together, we can turn the tide on drowning.
