At the recent Belt Up Amateurs, Masters and Metro and CTF Women’s Leagues Awards we came away with three awards to be very proud of.

A massive congratulations to Edee Andrews on winning the 2026 Women's Central Division 4 Golden Boot, we couldn’t be more proud to see you recognised for your efforts this season 🏆

Edee has been with Hamersley for many years through the juniors leagues and in her first full season in seniors she scored 43 goals in all competitions including 10 in one cup game and a fantastic goal in our recent cup final victory ⚽️💪

Daniel Deane meanwhile has won the 2006 Masters 35’s North Division 1 Golden Boot. North Div 1 is a very tough league to compete in and Daniel scored 30 goals from only 19 games! While he couldn’t be there to collect his award we look forward to presenting him with the trophy at our own awards night.

To top off the evening our Amateur Premier men’s squad was awarded the leagues fair play award which comes with a $1000 prize.

It is a great reflection of our playing group and coaching staff. While finishing a very credible 5th place they played hard and fair across the season and deserved to be recognised for their efforts 🙌

CHAMPIONS 🏆🏆🏆

What a result! Our Women’s team come out on top after a solid 3-0 victory against Noranda Emerald.

After dominating the opening minutes, Liv Donaldson opened the scoring with a superb long range shot. The second breakthrough came after good pressure from Emily Colley saw the ball fall to Jess Smith who rifled home from outside the box.

2-0 at halftime but Noranda Emerald came out looking dangerous in the second half. However, our defense held firm and got back on top, good work by Kayleigh Fox helped set up Edee Andrews who turned her marker and scored another from outside the box into the top corner.

A huge congratulations to all the team and coaches Dom and Luke Nardelli. After relegation from Division 1 they have worked tirelessly to secure promotion by winning Division 2, with the cup victory the icing on the cake. Along with the reserves winning Division 4 it’s a historic treble for 2026!!

Up the Hammers!! ⚒️🤍🖤

Hi all, its our final wrap to the season so we will be putting on food for everyone after training this Thursday, and as it will be the last Thursday the club is open, all drinks in the fridge will be half price.

It is also the last chance to get End of Season Club Presentation tickets at the discounted price of $125 (thereafter $145 per ticket).

The world cup sweep winner stakes will also be handed out !!
For the lucky 12 people that finished last in their group they will receive a free drink. I'm sure those that participated in the sweep will know who they are, but a list of people will be pinned up in the clubrooms.

Come celebrate the final Thursday of the season.
Bar will be open from 7:30pm 🙂

Cheers,
Carol, HRSC President
