Congratulations to our Zone 13 riders who competed at Gravesend Showjumping last weekend. Tenterfield Pony Club member Amelia was awarded Champion Under 17 B Grade Rider, and Raine from Uralla & District Pony Club was awarded Champion E Grade and Champion C Associate.

Both riders continue to show outstanding success, sportsmanship, and a genuine commitment to learning and improving. By competing at all Zone 8 events, they are building stronger horse-and-rider combinations, exposing their horses to new courses and competition, and making friends across other zones.

Thank you to Zone 8 and Gravesend Pony Club for hosting another successful weekend and creating such valuable opportunities for riders and horses alike. Thank you to all families who provided such yummy cakes and slices and fed the riders and spectators over the weekend too. (Submitted)

🐴 Instructor Success 🐴

Congratulations to everyone who has participated in the Instructor Accreditation process so far!

Zone 13 now has:

🥈 6 Silver Instructors
🏅51 Bronze Instructors
✅ 73 Gear Checkers
➕ many others ready to be assessed!

It has been a monumental task at every level and we appreciate the cooperation of members who have participated.

We would like to thank Erica Kelly & Julie Morgan for their time coaching & assessing candidates this weekend.

Also, thank you to the Emmaville Pony Club committee who hosted the school at Dundee this weekend and their riders who volunteered their time.

Zone 8 have a school scheduled for March 2027. In order to organise an Assessment, we require 5-7 candidates who have completed the prerequisites and a club willing to host it. Please reach out if this sounds like you!

The Instructor School at Dundee Sportsground will go ahead on Saturday 15th August. All members over the age of 16 are welcome to attend. If you have not already registered your interest, please send a DM to this page.

If you haven’t done so, please register for the upcoming Zoom sessions (starting tonight) https://ponyclubnsw.org.au/forms/bronze-state-instructors-school-zoom/

As numbers are limited to the 7 for Assessment on Sunday 16th August, I’ll be contacting those candidates selected by the ZCI today.

Remember that to be ready for assessment on 16/8 you must:
- be a financial member
- be eligible for a WWCC
- have completed 2 Zooms
- have completed 1 face to face school
- have completed online modules (Bronze Horsemanship, Work Book & Gear Check) https://ponyclubnsw.org.au/courses/
