Revive Fitness Retreat

Do you find it hard to actually switch off?

You might be:

• Constantly thinking about what needs to be done next
• Feeling stressed or overwhelmed for no obvious reason
• Tired, but struggling to sleep properly
• Waking during the night with your mind racing
• Feeling irritable or on edge
• Finding it hard to concentrate
• Always rushing from one thing to the next
• Feeling like you never get any real time for yourself

This is exactly why we include meditation and breathwork on our Revive Retreats.

Slowing your breathing and taking time to be still can help move your body out of that constant stress response and into a calmer state.

Regular breathwork and meditation may help:

• Reduce feelings of stress and anxiety
• Calm your nervous system
• Slow down racing thoughts
• Improve sleep
• Improve focus and concentration
• Reduce physical tension
• Help you feel more present
• Give your mind and body a chance to properly switch off

And you don’t need to have meditated before.

For many of the women on our retreats, it’s completely new.

Sometimes you don’t realise how much you needed to slow down until you finally do.

That’s what REVIVE is about — giving yourself five days to step away from the noise, focus on yourself and reset.

Breathe. Reset. Reconnect. REVIVE.

Meet Maddie

Our resident Physiotherapist

Hi I’m Maddie. I’m a Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Instructor. I completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Notre Dame University in 2020, and went on to complete a Diploma in Clinical Pilates in 2023.

My areas of interest include working with older adults and individuals living with neurological conditions or disabilities. I am also drawn to helping people who experience chronic pain, using pilates as a tool to help them move better and feel better.

When I’m not on the reformer, I enjoy yoga, swimming, waterpolo and testing out new recipes in the kitchen!

MARRY ME CHICKEN RAMEN🍜

Ingredients:
* 2 chicken breasts
* 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* 3 cloves garlic, chopped
* ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
* 1 tsp paprika
* ½ tsp chilli flakes
* 1 tsp dried oregano
* 400 ml chicken stock
* 200 ml single cream
* 30 g parmesan, grated
* Salt & black pepper, to taste
* ½ tsp sugar
* 2 portions ramen noodles
* Fresh coriander, to serve
* Beansprouts, to serve
* 2 spring onions, sliced
* Edamame beans, to serve
* Chilli oil, to serve

Recipe:
Step 1: Get your chicken breasts and coat in all purpose flour. Place a saucepan on medium heat and add in 1 tablespoon oil. Add in your chicken breast and fry on each side for 4 minutes or until golden. Then, remove the chicken while you make your sauce.

Step 2: In the same saucepan, add in your chopped garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, paprika, chilli flakes, and oregano. Fry for a couple of minutes and then add in your chicken stock and single cream. Give everything a mix. Grate in your parmesan.

Step 3: Place your chicken breasts back into the pan, add on the lid and cook for 5 minutes. Remove the breasts again and set aside to slice.

Step 4: Season your broth with a big pinch of salt, grind of pepper and ½ teaspoon sugar. Taste and season accordingly. Add in another 200ml chicken stock, then add in your ramen noodles.

Step 5: When your ramen noodles are cooked to packet instructions, ladle your broth and noodles into two bowls. Top with chicken, coriander, beansprouts, spring onions, edamame beans, and chilli oil.

Step 6: Enjoy!

Sara’s Story — KT FIT Member since 2018

I started training at KT Fit back in 2018, when my twins had just turned two. Since then I’ve done personal training, Pilates, strength classes and the gym — so I’ve experienced pretty much every side of KT.

My body had taken a beating after my twin pregnancy, and I’d been rehabbing with Down South Physio for 18 months. They highly recommended Katie because of her clinical training and the way she works alongside physios to really understand injuries and how to safely rebuild strength.

Eight years later, I keep coming back because of the personal attention and the community Katie has created. It’s never intimidating — you’re always welcomed, and the team actually asks about your injuries and how your body is feeling, rather than putting everyone through the same workout.

Today, Katie invited me in for a one-on-one Pilates session with five of her instructors observing and working together. I have a number of injuries, so there was a lot to work around. Throughout the session they watched how I moved, corrected my technique, and discussed which movements were right for me and which needed modifying. Sometimes it was the smallest cue that completely changed how an exercise felt.

Hands down, KT Fit’s point of difference is the combination of personal attention and 20+ years of experience. I don’t think I’ve been to another studio where instructors routinely ask about injuries and genuinely modify movements for individual people. Because the classes are boutique, instructors can actually watch how you move — you’re never just another person trying to keep up.

Today summed up KT Fit for me: five instructors taking the time to understand one person’s body and work out how to help her get stronger, safely. That level of care is pretty special.

DUNSBOROUGH FITNESS TRAINERS — WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL

Here’s the thing…

I’m not just looking for someone to come into KT FIT, teach a few classes, collect their pay and go home.

I’m looking for someone who wants to become part of what we’re building.

KT FIT has been part of the Dunsborough community for over 20 years, and our members are so much more than numbers walking through the door.

We know their names.
We know their injuries.
We know when they’ve had a crap week.
We notice when they haven’t been in.
And we genuinely care about helping them get stronger, fitter and more confident.

That’s the kind of trainer I’m looking for.

Someone who can walk into a room and connect with people - and make them feel awesome!

Someone who actually COACHES — not just starts the timer and counts down 3…2…1.

Someone who wants to learn, improve and become a bloody good trainer.

You might already have years of experience.

Or you might be newly qualified and just need someone to give you an opportunity.

I care more about your attitude, personality and willingness to learn than having the perfect résumé.

You’ll need:

💪 Cert III + IV in Fitness
👍 First Aid
🤝 Great people skills
🔥 Energy and initiative
🙌 A team-first attitude
📚 A willingness to learn and take feedback
❤️ A genuine interest in helping our members

And most importantly — you need to want to be here.

In return, I want to give the right person an opportunity to grow with KT FIT.

More responsibility.
More hours.
More experience.
More development.
And the chance to build a real career in the fitness industry — not just pick up a couple of classes.

We’ll support you, teach you how we do things and help you become a better coach.

I’m looking for someone who wants to become an important part of the KT FIT team for the long term.

If you’ve been waiting for an opportunity to get your foot in the door — this might be it.

Another new face on the block!!🌟🌟MEET JULES🩷🩷

If I’m not making coffee, you can find me doing Pilates, op shopping or at a local winery enjoying a glass of chardy. I got into teaching after doing a lot of Pilates to help strengthen my back after an injury. I loved it so much I wanted to make it a bigger part of my life. My latest obsession is line dancing, please ask me about my collection of cowboy boots 😆

Hi I’m Jordy! I recently completely my Breathe Education Pilates course and I’m so excited to join the team at KT. When I’m not teaching reformer I’m making coffees at Tiny Coffee down the road, have my head in a good book or I’m strolling around town with our dog Scout (come say hi, he loves a pat!). Favorite coffee is a long black, even better if there is a croissant to go with it!
