Falcons Division 1 Leave It All Out There - Game 3 Awaits

The Falcons Division 1 side came up just short in Game 2 of the Grand Final series, going down 5–3 to East in a hard-fought battle that now sends the series to a massive Game 3 decider next week.

While the result did not fall our way, there was no questioning the fight, heart, and belief from this group.

On the mound, Darryl Muns was outstanding. In a true Grand Final effort, Darryl went the full 8 innings, throwing 110 pitches, giving up just six hits and only two earned runs. He battled all day, kept the Falcons in the contest, and gave his team every chance to win. It was the kind of performance that shows exactly what finals baseball is about - toughness, composure, and refusing to give in.

The Falcons struck first in the third inning, with Darryl Muns helping his own cause by driving in two runs to put the boys on the board. Xavier Gardner also drove in a run, while Jorden Doherty led the way with the bat, picking up two hits in a strong performance at the plate.

Defensively, the Falcons turned three double plays, showing great composure in big moments and continuing to fight their way through pressure.

This one hurts, but the job is not finished.

The series is alive, the belief is still strong, and the Falcons get one more shot next week. Game 3 is what Grand Finals are all about - pressure, pride, and the chance to finish the season together.

This team has shown all year that they back each other, compete for every out, and never walk away from a challenge.

Now it all comes down to one more game.

One club. One team. One more fight. Let’s go Falcons. 🦅🔥

Falcons Division 2 Finish the Job in Style

What a way to cap off a fantastic season.

The Falcons Division 2 side are Grand Final champions, putting together a complete team performance to finish the year with a dominant 16–1 win.

This was Falcons baseball at its best — pressure at the plate, disciplined team hitting, strong pitching, and contributions all through the lineup. After looking to reverse the result from a fortnight ago, the boys responded in the best possible way: by backing each other in, playing as one, and delivering when it mattered most.

On the mound, Deon Strahan gave the Falcons exactly what they needed in a Grand Final. He set the tone early, worked through four strong innings, and held East to just one run on three hits. Deon competed hard, attacked hitters, and kept the game under control long enough for the Falcons bats to take over. Simon Tatt then came in and finished the job with a scoreless inning in relief, shutting the door on a brilliant team performance.

Then the bats went to work.

Jayson Strahan had a huge day, going 4-for-4 with a double and 3 RBIs, leading the charge in a brilliant individual performance. Jorden Doherty was also outstanding, collecting 3 hits and driving in 3 runs, while Simon Tatt delivered at the plate with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs.

Mason Strahan was everywhere, reaching base, scoring 3 runs, driving in 2, and keeping the pressure on. Nathan Larson added another strong performance with 2 hits and 2 RBIs, while the whole lineup continued to grind out quality at-bats.

Across the board, this was a true team win. The Falcons piled on 15 hits, worked 8 walks, and showed the kind of patience, energy and belief that has defined this group all year.

A Grand Final win is never just about one game. It is built through training nights, tough losses, big moments, teammates buying in, families supporting, coaches guiding, and players trusting each other when the pressure is on.

Division 2, congratulations on a brilliant season and a Grand Final performance to remember.

Falcons Baseball. One club. One team. One massive win. 🦅🔥

🔥 GRAND FINAL BASEBALL IS HERE 🔥

The Falcons are flying.

After our U13s and 17Us both claimed Grand Final wins last week, the momentum across the club is real and now it is time for our senior teams to carry that energy into another massive weekend.

Our Division 2 Falcons are locked in and ready to take on East, looking to flip the result from a fortnight ago and finish the job when it matters most. They head in with serious momentum after a complete team performance last week - sharper baseball, hot bats, and contributions right through the lineup.

Our Division 1 Falcons are back for Game 2 of their best-of-three Grand Final series, also against East. After taking Game 1 with a huge 10–4 win, built on disciplined batting, teamwork, and trust in each other, they now get the chance to keep pushing toward the ultimate result.

This club wins as one.

From juniors to seniors, players to coaches, scorers, volunteers, families and supporters - everyone contributes to the success of this club. Falcons culture is built on backing each other in, doing the little things right, and showing up when the moment is biggest.

Now we need the whole club behind them.

Wear the colours. Bring the noise. Pack the sidelines. Let’s rally around both teams and show what being a Falcon is all about.

🦅 ONE CLUB. ONE TEAM. ONE FIGHT.

Let’s go Falcons!
