💙 ROUND 5 HIGHLIGHTS 💙

We’re officially over halfway through the season, and the action just keeps getting better.

The countdown to finals is on, but there’s still plenty of touch footy fun to come!

A massive congratulations to our very own Keely Silva, who made her Australian debut with the Women’s 27s at the Asia Pacific Seniors Touch Cup in Japan.

From Canterbury to representing Australia on the international stage… what an achievement! We are SO proud of you, Keely!

A special congratulations also to our very own Steph Wi******er, who joined the Australian team too as their physio.

What a special moment for our Canterbury Touch family! 💙

💙 ROUND 3 HIGHLIGHTS 💙

A little bit of sunshine, a whole lot of rain… and another cracking Sunday of junior touch!

The heavens well and truly opened up later in the day, but even the heavy rain couldn’t wash away the vibe, talent or smiles out on the fields.

Three rounds in and we are absolutely loving seeing our juniors out there each week… having a go, backing their teammates and most importantly having FUN!

REMINDER: There are NO GAMES this Sunday due to the long weekend. Also be sure to keep those eyes peeled… JSC trial dates and Player EOIs are coming soon!

Today we honoured Tristan Pollard, a Canterbury Touch Association Junior and Representative player.

Our Junior Comp season will be dedicated to Tristan. His journey touched everyone’s hearts within our community, and we will honour him by carrying his initials and playing number on all Junior Comp shirts this season.

Tristan’s team, the Little Giants, and our wider community paused for one minute’s silence and released balloons before their game.

Dom, Aaron, Harlan — the entire Canterbury Touch Association is behind you during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Tristan. 💙
