Exciting progress at Freo Public!

Construction on Launch Pad Golf is well underway, and the site is transforming day by day. Here’s what’s been happening:
⛳ Launch Pad Golf works in full swing
🅿️ North Car Park construction has officially commenced
🛠️ 1st hole temporarily closed for new sewer line installation
💧 Plumbing works progressing steadily across the site
🌱 New 9th green set to begin late September (positioned between the temporary green and short-game area)
🏌️‍♂️ Golf course and driving range remaining open throughout most of the works
🏗️ Driving range closing from 21 September for four weeks for netting pole footings

Great golf isn't just about your score—it's also about respecting the course and the players around you.

Following basic golf etiquette helps everyone enjoy a smoother and safer round. Remember to replace your divots, rake bunkers after use, repair the course where needed, and avoid playing until the group ahead is safely out of range. If you're searching for a lost ball, allow faster groups to play through before continuing.

Golf carts should remain at least 10 metres away from greens and tees, and each player should carry their own set of clubs.

These simple habits help keep the course in excellent condition for everyone who plays.

At Fremantle Public Golf Course, we believe golf should be enjoyable, welcoming, and comfortable for everyone. While our dress code is relaxed, we do ask all players to follow a few simple guidelines to help maintain a respectful environment on the course.

Before you tee off, please make sure you're dressed neatly and comfortably. For the safety and comfort of all guests, thongs, singlets, and work boots are not permitted on the golf course.

A little preparation helps everyone enjoy their round while respecting fellow players and the course.

Our 10-bay driving range is the perfect place to practise every club in your bag. Whether you're working on your driver, irons, or short game, you'll have the space to build confidence and consistency.

Choose from small, medium, or large buckets depending on how long you'd like to practise. Best of all, no bookings are required—simply arrive, grab a bucket, and start hitting.
