A huge congratulations to our SEVEN Old Soldiers selected to represent NSW Subbies at the 2026 Australian Rugby Shield in Newcastle!

With representatives selected across the Men’s, Colts and Women’s squads, it’s a fantastic achievement for the players and a proud reflection of the strength of rugby across all levels.

Congratulations to our Super 7; we can’t wait to see you pull on the NSW Subbies jersey and represent the Old Soldiers on the national stage!

Lindfield is a first division club that competes in Sydney’s Suburban competition. With a proud 108 year history. We have five Men’s Grades, Colts, Women’s as well as an over 35s.

Presentation Night 2026 is just around the corner and tickets are disappearing quickly!

Location: Establishment Ballroom 252 George St, Sydney NSW 2000
Doors open from 7:00pm
Formal presentations commence at 7:15pm

Dress Code: Black Tie Optional
That means tuxedos and formal gowns are welcome, but a smart dark suit and tie or elegant cocktail attire is just as suitable. Dress up and make a night of it!
This is one of the biggest nights on the Lindfield Rugby Club calendar, celebrating the achievements, memories and characters that made the 2026 season so special.

Tickets are limited and selling quickly. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. Capacity is strictly capped and we won’t be able to make exceptions after sell-out, so secure your place today.

A historic moment for Lindfield Rugby Club.

Congratulations to our very own Men’s Delegate and 1st Grade ho**er, Jeremy Wells, on being awarded the Kentwell Medal.

The first Kentwell Medal winner in the club’s 107-year history.

A remarkable achievement and one that will go down in Lindfield Rugby Club history. We couldn’t be prouder.

Congratulations, Wellsy. A very well deserved honour.

Yesterday the mighty Legacy girls flew the club flag in an elimination final and a chance for a ticket to the big dance next Saturday. A huge thanks to a large Lindfield crowd that once again was on hand to support the club.

The girls faced a determined Waverley side and had the early lead after a nice snipe off the ruck from Harriet Barnett. Waverley then responded with two quick tries of their own before Jess McIver found her jet shoes and notched up yet another try for the season.

After Waverley then held out another raid on their try line the Legacy went to half time leading 14-10. Despite the girls giving their all and battling to the final whistle they succumbed to an almighty 2nd half effort from the Waves and not to be. We wish Hunters Hill and Waverley well in what should be great clash in the Grand Final.

And with that the curtain comes down on our 2026 Subbies season. A huge huge thanks to our wonderful coaches, sponsors, exec and sub committees, supporters and players for all of their efforts and time during the season and vital support in our quest for club wide success.

Plenty to still look forward to in 2026 with a few key social events to come inclusive of Presentation Night as well as our Canada Tour!

Lastly a Happy Father’s Day to all of those Fathers in the Rugby community.

Onwards to 2027🔵⚪️

Finals Week 1 Results

The Old Soldiers answered the call yesterday and rolled up en masse to cheer on our 1’s and mighty Legacy girls. Both have had truly outstanding seasons with some great victories along the way with an ample touch of ch*****ne running rugby.

The Legacy played in a Major Semi against Hunters Hill Women’s Rugby and went down to the undefeated minor premiers. They fought hard but the Hillie’s secured a deserved win. The Legacy get a life and now head to a knockout Preliminary Final against Waverley at Concord Oval next Saturday.

Sadly not to be for 1st Grade who went down to a rampaging Colleagues side. Not our day and a fantastic year comes to a close. Onwards to 2027!
