We’re excited to share that Navy Strength Ice Co. has officially joined Bare Bones Ice Company. This is something that has been taking shape for several years, born from a shared belief in collaboration and in continuing to raise the standard of clear cocktail ice across Australia.

By bringing Navy Strength and Bare Bones together, we’re combining our experience, people and capabilities to deliver an even better product and service to our customers.

Zara and Michael, the founders of Navy Strength Ice and pioneers of Australia’s handcrafted clear ice industry, are very much a part of what comes next - expect a greater production capability, wider distribution network, and broader product range, as well as an increased focus on education, training and industry development alongside Bare Bones Managing Director, Daniele Pirotta.

It was an honour to have Navy Strength Ice Co. founders Michael Madrusan & Zara Madrusan join the senior beverage team from Lucas Collective venues today at the stunning Society Restaurant. We took a deep dive into the process behind producing clear cocktail ice, the dos and don’ts of ice handling and discussed ice’s integral role as ‘the bartender’s flame’ - an active ingredient in every cocktail.

🧊 Operations & Production Lead (Full Time, Salary, Senior)

✔️ Oversee the daily manufacturing of our premium ice products. This role is suited to a hands-on leader with a strong management and production background, a mechanical mind, exemplary communication and organisational skills and confidence guiding a small hardworking team.

🧊 Manufacturing & Food Handling (Casual)

✔️Hands-on production team member suited to someone who has a passion for quality products, enjoys physical labour and has a keen eye for detail. Full mechanical and equipment training provided.

Both roles are available now, offer regular daytime hours and are based in our Fawkner warehouse.
