New article: This Was a Lot Harder Than Expected.
Itâs late â° Iâm tired đ´ Weâve been in the tiny home for two months and somehow Iâm still dealing with builders, tiles, cushions, kennels, Airbnbs and a never-ending to-do list.
This article was written somewhere in the middle of all that.

Sometimes I wonder how many moments in life I rushed through because I was always focused on the next thing.
The next goal
The next problem to solve
The next version of life that would finally make me feel âsettled.â
But lately, Iâve realised somethingâŚâ¨â¨â¨
This season Iâm living right now is one I once wished for during harder seasons of life.
And learning how to actually receive it has been its own journey.
đ¤Not perfectly
đ¤Not romantically
đ¤Just slowly
Todayâs Substack piece is a reflection on that feeling ⌠learning how to appreciate whatâs already in front of you before life moves onto the next chapter again.

People think the tiny home is the storyâŚâ¨but really itâs what the tiny home made possible.
More time together.â¨Less pressure.â¨Slower mornings.â¨A nervous system no longer constantly operating in survival mode.
I used to think success looked like âmore.â
â¨More money.â¨More productivity.â¨More achievement.
But lately Iâve been learning that sometimes the real flex is creating a life where your body finally feels safe enough to rest.
Tiny living didnât magically heal everything overnight⌠but it created space for us to actually hear ourselves again.
And honestly?
â¨That has changed everything.

⨠A Quiet Year of Becoming â¨
I almost didnât write this post⌠mostly because this year felt like a blur of growth, change, and quiet lessons that only make sense once you pause long enough to reflect.
But I did finally sit down and wrap up my year in words.
This past year I wrote 23 articles⌠about identity, emotional growth, conscious living, tiny home dreams, and learning how to let go of old versions of myself.
Some pieces surprised me (hello, Gift Guide đ
), others stretched me emotionally, and a few changed me in ways I didnât expect.
I wrote about:
⢠navigating identity shifts
⢠moving through emotional pain
⢠living more intentionally
⢠eco-living & community
⢠and the beginning of our tiny home journey
Itâs been a quiet year of becoming⌠and I finally shared it all in one place.
If youâve been feeling like youâre in between chapters, or slowly evolving into someone new⌠this one might resonate đ¤
