⭐️Volunteer of the Month - Kaye⭐️

This month we are excited to recognise Kaye for her incredible contribution to Victoria Park Swimming Club in her newly created role as Member Liaison Officer.

Kaye has quickly become the friendly and welcoming face of our club, helping new families feel connected, supported and right at home from the moment they join. Her warm smile, approachable nature and willingness to help have made a real difference to our club community.

Thank you, Kaye, for the time, care and enthusiasm you bring to VPSC. We are so grateful to have you helping make our club such a welcoming place for everyone 🧡

This Thursday enjoy a great night at VPSC after our Mini Club Night, with swimmers and families coming together to enjoy some warm soup and good company.

A big thank you to Fuel to Go & Play and the Town of Victoria Park for supporting this event and helping bring our club community together.

As National Volunteer Week comes to a close, we want to recognise and thank the incredible people who make Victoria Park Swimming Club what it is.

Our volunteers are the backbone of our club, from timekeeping to the many hours of unseen work behind the scenes. Every role matters, and we’re so grateful for each and every one of you.

A big thank you to our dedicated committee for the time, care and effort you give to keep our club running and growing.

And a very special mention to Suzanne, our Volunteer of the Year nominee for the Town of Victoria Park.
Suzanne’s impact behind the scenes is enormous from applying for grants, to helping develop our strategic plan, and contributing to our Club Excellence application with Swimming WA. Her commitment, knowledge and generosity of time make a real difference to our club and our swimmers.

Suzanne was also recognised at the Town of Victoria Park Volunteer of the Year event on Friday night at Baillie Hill. Unfortunately, she was unable to attend as she was over east for work, but her wonderful family proudly accepted the award on her behalf.

We’re incredibly lucky to have such a strong and supportive community around us.

On Perth’s coldest morning in months, our squad showed real commitment by turning up, getting in, and putting in the work. That’s the kind of dedication that builds not just strong swimmers, but strong people.

A big thank you to the Town of Victoria Park and Aqualife Centre for the heated 27°C pool, it definitely made the early start a little more manageable!

So proud of this group and the effort they continue to show, no matter the conditions.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Town of Victoria Park for their generous sports grant.

Thanks to this support, we’ve been able to invest in professional development for our coaches, giving them the opportunity to learn, grow, and bring fresh ideas back to pool deck.

From refining technique to building stronger, more creative sessions, this has already had a huge impact on the way our coaches support and inspire our swimmers.

Thank you for backing community sport and helping us continue to grow.

WOW what can we say…last night was such a great night for our club! We held our first Splash and Dash event and the vibes were next level!! A massive thank you to swimwa for helping us make this happen. To all the families and children that came down and had a go, we hope you enjoyed your night. Lastly to our older swimmers, it really warmed our hearts seeing and hearing you cheer on the younger ones. This is what it is all about helping raise the next generation of swimmers. 🧡🏊🏻‍♂️🏊🏻‍♀️
