MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
JOHN EPTA (John Epta) and HARRY BICKERS (Harry Bickers ) have been part of the MYGYM family for many years. You’ve probably seen these two champions moving some serious weight around the gym. Although they continue to push boundaries, test their limits and set new goals, what stands out the most is the humble way in which they carry themselves on the gym floor - always making time for a quick chat or to give some helpful advice to those around them.

TAKING IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL!
Over the age of 50, both John and Harry recently competed in the WRPF Nationals for Powerlifting and after months of consistent training and preparation and while working through some injuries and other obstacles, their results were incredible - including Australian and World Records.

Always leading by example, their passion and commitment are incredibly motivating to everyone around them. They are a great reminder to never lower your expectations of yourself. Keep setting goals, keep improving and keep challenging yourself no matter your age or what gets in the way.

John and Harry, we’re incredibly proud to have you both as part of the MYGYM family and we love to see you working hard on the gym floor. We’re looking forward to following your competitive journey and seeing a few more records along the way.

Our cardio equipment is getting an upgrade and very soon every piece will be replaced with brand-new, state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment.

Watch this space as the new cardio equipment rolls out in stages over the next few months.

A big shoutout to some of our amazing members who recently competed in the Sydney HYROX!

Your hard work and commitment leading up to the event didn’t go unnoticed, and it was great to see you put your training to the test. Even better, many of you came away with personal best times, a great reflection of the consistency and effort you’ve put into your training.

King’s Birthday Long Weekend Hours 👑

Please take note of our opening hours for the upcoming long weekend.

On Monday, the gym will be open from 8:00am–4:00pm. There will be no classes or creche running on the public holiday, however our virtual classes will still be available.

We hope everyone enjoys the extra day off and we look forward to seeing you in the gym over the weekend!

Take your training to the next level with our 5-Week HYROX Inspired Training Program - designed for those preparing for the upcoming Sydney HYROX event, or anyone wanting to challenge themselves and build elite-level fitness.

• Start Date: Sunday 30 May
• Program Length: 5 Weeks
• Time: 10:00am
• Duration: 45 - 60 minutes
• Class Limit: 18 participants

Throughout the program, benchmark results and workout times will be recorded to help track progress, measure improvement, and keep you accountable week-to-week.

Bookings can be made at reception 30mins prior to the class start time - First in first served.

WARNING: This program is not like our usual functional training classes. It is higher in intensity and not for the faint-hearted!
