7 weeks post fat loss phase and 2 weeks into my Gain phase.
This is the gaining phase (bulk) before I start contest prep for 2023 comp. 78.4-79kgs body weight here.
I go through these phases to get better each year by adding new muscle tissue over time. This is what bodybuilding is all about.
You eat in a calorie surplus trying to gain weight for atleast 8 months then you focus on fat loss losing the added fat what is covering the new added muscle. Rinse and repeat until your happy with the amount of muscle you have on your physique Then you find the bodyfat you like and that you can function great on and just maintain. That will be where I’m at atm or slighter higher.
Have not done Barbell incline bench first in the workout for years! I always start on flat first then move onto incline 2nd. 100kg for sets of 8 reps nice and controlled! Control the weight don’t let the weight control you. If you want to stay injury free the best you can you better do quality reps! Yes it’s hard to to quality Reps but don’t be afraid to drop the weight down! No ego lifting here! 💪
