What an awesome way to end the term - a skills comp AND game! Players were divided into teams then individually matched whereupon they competed in various events including puck handling, shooting and racing, finishing with the game. Coach Corey's selections made it very competitive but in the end the Light Jerseys pipped the Dark Jerseys to the post - just - with 15 points to 13 🥇🥅🏒 ⭐️

The Ice Hockey Winter Season is officially over so swop your blades for some in-lines and join the Blackwood Beasts for the summer! Games and training are on Saturdays.
Thanks to all the parents of our junior players who signed the petition, it has been received by Skate SA and Skate Australia. Now we wait and see 🏒 🥅 🤞🤞🤞

After a delayed start to the season due to the refurbishment of the floor, we kicked off the season with a mammoth training session. Thanks Corey!

We've had an extended mid season break while the floor of the rec centre was refurbished but we are officially back this weekend!
We're going to start the winter season with a slightly different format to help determine divisions and teams.
11.00am - 12.30pm Training Session / Assessment with Coach Corey for ALL players.
The assessment is for any B players who would like to be assessed for the A division as well as any C players who would like to be assessed for the B division.
12.30pm - 1.30pm Buzzer Hockey (ALL players)
3x3. One division per line. 2 minutes per line.
1.30pm - 2.30pm Open court practice (optional)

The refurbishment of the rink is well underway and all going well, Winter Season will kick off on on Saturday 13th May.
Games and training run on Saturdays.
We have three divisions to suit different skill levels and ages.
