A very special moment at our Junior Presentation today 🖤🤍

We shared a truly special moment at our Junior Presentation today as the Club presented the inaugural ‘Damo’ Lambourn Club Champion Award.

We were also incredibly honoured to have Damo’s beautiful mum, Roni, with us to present this very special award.

Damo’s former teammate Mark Heron had the honour of announcing the award, delivering a heartfelt and emotional speech that captured the true spirit of Damo - his love of life, his love of the game and above all, his incredible ability to make everyone around him smile.

Congratulations to Harry Cronk from our U14’s, who was selected from a host of very worthy nominees.

Harry’s incredible spirit, sportsmanship, resilience, kindness and love of the game embody everything this award represents.

A very fitting first recipient of an award that will hold a very special place in the heart of the mighty Eden Killer Whales FC.

🤍 🖤 U16s Grand Final 🖤🤍

Commiserations to our U16s, who finished Runners Up after an epic Grand Final battle against the Tathra Sea Eagles today and congratulations to Tathra on a fantastic season.

An early goal to Tathra ultimately proved to be the difference, but our young Killer Whales worked tirelessly from start to finish, creating several chances to get themselves back into the game.

A beautifully executed set play free kick found the back of the net, only to be disallowed for offside - a heartbreaking moment that could have changed the game.

Every single player gave absolutely everything they had. They fought, they chased, they battled and never gave up. Unfortunately, today just wasn’t our day.

We couldn’t be prouder of this group!

A massive shout out to Jackson Whiter, who was awarded the Referee’s Player of the Match, a fantastic recognition of an outstanding performance, well done Jacko 👏⚽️

To our players, coaches, families and supporters, congratulations on an incredible season. Hold your heads high boys. You did your Club proud🖤🤍

🖤🤍 GRAND FINAL TIME 🤍🖤

Our mighty EKWFC U16s take on the Tathra Sea Eagles this Sunday in the FSCFA Grand Final and this one is shaping up to be an absolute epic showdown ⚽️🔥

The last two encounters between these sides have both ended in draws, so there’s very little between them. Come Sunday, our young Killer Whales will be desperate to finally break the deadlock!

The boys are heading into the Grand Final full of confidence after an epic penalty shootout victory over minor premiers Wolumla in last Sunday’s Preliminary Final 💪

Our Eden boys ooze class however and with most of the team already having premierships under their belts, it might just be that big game experience that gets the Killers over the line.

Keep an eye out for senior players Ryder, Zen, Xavier, Jackson, James & Cam to stand up when it counts. And our younger crew will be champing at the bit to make their mark too! 👊

Player of the Week awards went to Cameran and Ryder.

Cam was solid in goals on Sunday. With Cam saving a couple of penalty shots in a penalty shoot to secure the win and put the 16s through to the Grand Final on Sunday.

Our captain Ryder worked tirelessly in the mid field today. His decision making, will to compete and wining the ball at all costs was everything we asked of him today. Well done boys.

A MASSIVE congratulations to our U16s!

WHAT. A. GAME!!! 👏🔥

After an absolute nail-biter, our boys came away with the win on penalties, securing their spot in the GRAND FINAL against Tathra next Sunday! 🖤

Well done, boys! It was a fantastic game, an incredible team effort, and a very well deserved win.
