Despite the bad weather a great day was had by all at the WAMC women’s classic fun run. Essential money was raised for Breast cancer care WA. We are proud to be a sponsor with the west Australian marathon club. If you are into running then check out their club events

Race Week! We’re celebrating our Bunbury 3 Waters Running Festival runners, including Shawn Cole running his 1st hometown marathon, determined to have a great experience before his big 4-0, and Dan Depiazzi, running the half marathon.
Favourite Part of the Course:
💙 The stretch from the boat harbour through to Koombana Bay 🤩 - Shawn
💙 The 3WRF has an awesome last 300m. Passing the lighthouse and striding downhill to the finish line is a buzz. You forget the pain and spread your wings to bring it home. Yep, love that bit. It’s a celebration and reward for all the effort that got you there! – Dan
Words of Wisdom (How to Run it):
✨️ Don’t go out too quick! I’ve done it too many times and blown up! Easy start and negative split 😊 - Shawn
✨️ Be present while you run! Nod to Wardandi Boodja as you pass, read the shipwreck names on the Whalebone Bridge beneath you, scan the water for dolphins in the bay, hear the waves hitting the 130m-old basalt rocks at Wyalup Point, feel the sea breeze, make way for ducks, and greet everyone encouraging you along the way, especially the volunteers. That's it. Go well. You're in for a stellar morning! – Dan
