Although our 2026 season ended with Saturday's loss to Adelaide City, we're closing this chapter with immense pride. We made club history, achieving our highest-ever finish in the top division 🚀

A huge thank you to our incredible players and coaching staff for their tireless dedication every single week.

And to our supporters, you are truly the best. Through thick and thin, your loyalty and passion are unmatched. We're so fortunate to have you by our side 🫶🏼

Now, it's time for some well-deserved rest before we tackle another year in the NPLSA.

JUNIOR RESULTS RECAP

U13 v Beograd
The start was always going to be crucial today, and we looked to control the tempo of the game.
Unfortunately, a small mistake by our GK allowed Beograd a goal against play and we finished the half 0-1 down.
We spoke at the half about giving everything we have and not leaving anything to chance.
The lads once again took the game on and it was an arm wrestle 2nd half, in which we equalised in the dying minutes and saw us finish 1-1 all and move to pens.
Our GK got a great chance to redeem himself and saved 2 pens, with us converting all but 1 and finished 5-4 on pens and punched our ticket to the big dance against Croydon next Sunday.

U/14's played Para Hills Knights today in the semi's.
It was one of those days.
Our preparation leading up to today's game was no different to every other game preparation this season.
But unfortunately we failed to come home with the win, in saying that Para Hills put up a good fight to win the game 3-1.
We created more than enough chances to put the game to rest, but we failed to capitalise.

I'm very proud of this group, I believe they have done themselves and the club proud this season , and I'm looking forward to moving forward and taking on the new challenges next season brings.

U15s played Croydon today at their ground. In an even first 20mins it was Croydon who broke the deadlock with a long corner to the back post that was headed in. We controlled much of the game from this moment on and went in 1-0 down at the break. The second half we created several chances and just couldn’t finish. We were through on goal and the last man brought down our winger - he received a straight red. We went four up top and wave after wave we created chance after chance but we couldn’t score. The boys gave it their absolute all, but the football gods weren’t on our side today.

It was a disappointing way to go out, but we look back on what has been a great season as a whole. Losing only 1 game in the league all year and to finish league as champions was an amazing effort!!!

WOMEN’S SCHEDULE

JUNIOR RESULTS RECAP

U/16’s played Sturt at home in an elimination final. We started well peppering their goal and scored in the second minute. From there we dominated the first half but didn’t take our chances to end the first half 1-0 up.

We talked about putting the game to bed and not letting them in, but straight after halftime we conceded, we still looked the better team but the longer it went on, the less likely we looked like scoring, they pounced on a half chance to take the lead 2-1.

We had chance after chance but to Sturt’s credit they defended for their lives and held on for a massive upset win and knocked us out of the finals race.

Been super coaching this group this year, their willingness to adapt each week to different personal, having no U/17’s has put alot of pressure on this group to step up and play U/18’s when needed, but still show up on a Sunday and perform knowing the importance of the results in the YCC to our club, so a massive thank you to the boys and their commitment shown.

Good luck to the Playford teams remaining in the finals, hopefully we can bring home some silverware.
