Fuego Flamenco started out as Karen Henderson making costumes for herself and her dancing friends, and has slowly turned into the desire to provide quality Spanish dance costumes, equipment and accessories around Australia. It has been frustrating as a dancer finding shoes, castanets, flowers, fringing... all of these are things I want to provide to dancers around Australia at a reasonable price.

Another finished. A special for a special friend and client.
Fifteen hours in this baby! I love watching the skirt develop layer by layer. One day I’ll remember to take a photo or video after each frill is added.
I can’t wait to see this one in action!

I feel like I can finally say that this skirt is finished. It’s been through a reincarnation, several sewing hospital visits and I finally put the finishing stitches in it for with the last weekend.
11 years later. 😂🤣
