🎉 Happy Birthday, James! 🎉

James has been part of the Vipers family for the past couple of years and is a valued member of our committee.

He’s always happy to roll up his sleeves and lend a hand, whether it’s helping set up at our home carnivals, pitching in at club events, or supporting the club wherever needed.

It’s people like James, who generously give their time and are always willing to help, that make our Vipers community so special.

Thank you, James, for everything you do for the club. We truly appreciate your time, effort, and support, and we’re lucky to have you as part of our Vipers family.

Celebrating our 2026 Under 6s! 🐍

What a wonderful season for this group. At this age, rugby is about so much more than what happens on the field — it’s about learning new skills, building confidence, making friends and developing a love for the game.

And our Under 6s certainly had some pretty special experiences along the way this year!

They had the opportunity to take part in a half-time activation at a Western Force game, and some of our young Vipers also had the incredible experience of being player mascots at the Wallabies v Italy match. Moments like these are such a special part of junior sport and create memories that we hope they’ll carry with them for a long time. 🏉

It was fantastic to celebrate all of our Under 6 players at our End of Season Celebration and recognise everything they achieved throughout 2026.

A special congratulations to our Under 6 award recipients:

🏆 Best & Fairest – William Dymock

A brilliant achievement for both boys, with Sullivan taking home two awards after a fantastic season. 👏

Most importantly, congratulations to every one of our Under 6 Vipers. We are so proud of how much you have grown throughout the year and hope you’ve made plenty of amazing memories along the way.

A huge thank you as well to the coaches, team support and families who turn up each week and make these opportunities possible. 💚

🐍 2026 SENIOR COMMUNITY SPIRIT AWARD 🐍

A huge congratulations to Jamie Hansen, the recipient of our 2026 Senior Community Spirit Award. 💚

This was Jamie’s first season as a parent with our Under 10s, but from the very beginning he brought such a positive presence to the team and the wider Vipers community.

Week after week, Jamie was there on the sideline with enthusiasm, encouragement and a huge smile — congratulating the kids on their great plays, lifting them up when things didn’t quite go their way, chatting with families and helping create such a positive environment around the team.

He was also always willing to put his hand up and help, regularly volunteering as the Under 10s linesman throughout the season.

What really stood out was the consistency of Jamie’s support, friendliness and positivity. It wasn’t just one moment — it was the way he showed up throughout the whole season and contributed to the culture we want to build at the Vipers.

Jamie, thank you for the wonderful contribution you have made to both our Under 10s and the wider club community.

NEW AGM DATE | 2027 COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN 🐍

Our 2026 AGM will now be held on Sunday 22 November 2026, giving us some extra time to build the strongest possible committee for 2027.

And that’s really what this is about.

We don’t just need names on a committee list. We need people who are willing to step into a role, take ownership of it, bring their skills to the table and help move the Club forward.

❤️ You might be great with numbers.
❤️ You might love organising events.
❤️You might have experience in admin, communications, sponsorship, coaching, facilities, volunteers or community engagement.
❤️Or you might simply know that you want to get more involved but aren’t sure yet where you would fit.

There are so many different ways to contribute, and we’d love to see people step into roles where they can really make the role their own and shine ✨

You don’t need to know everything about running a rugby club. What matters is being willing to get involved, work as part of the team and take responsibility for an area that suits your strengths.

🏆 2026 LIFE MEMBERSHIP NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN 🏆

Life Membership is one of the highest honours awarded by the Ellenbrook Vipers Rugby Union Club. It recognises those people who have given years of service, commitment and support to our Club and who have made a lasting contribution to the Vipers community. To be eligible for consideration, nominees must have at least 10 years of consecutive service to the Ellenbrook Vipers.

If you know someone whose contribution to the Club deserves this special recognition, we invite you to submit a nomination. Please send nominations, along with a short summary of the person’s involvement and contribution to the Vipers, directly to:

🐍 2026 JUNIOR COMMUNITY SPIRIT AWARD 🐍

A very special congratulations to Zoe Bonhomme, our 2026 Junior Community Spirit Award recipient. 💚

This award recognises a young Viper who demonstrates kindness, involvement and a genuine willingness to contribute to our club community — and Zoe has done exactly that this season.

Throughout the year, Zoe has been one of those juniors who is always happy to lend a hand. She helped during our pre-season activities, assisted with set-ups, and has been a wonderful support around our Little Rugby and Walla Rugby programs.

One of the moments that really stood out was at our Girls Come & Try Day, where Zoe took the time to help some of our littlest girls, making them feel welcome, included and confident to get involved.

It may seem like a small thing, but those moments are exactly what community spirit is all about — looking out for others, getting involved and helping make our club a place where everyone feels welcome.

We are incredibly proud of you, Zoe. 💚

🐍 Congratulations Brian! 🏆

A big congratulations to Brian Dempsey, the winner of our 1st Prize in the Ellenbrook Vipers Raffle.

Brian has now received his prize — a BWT 20 inch Triple Whole House Water Filtration System with matching sun cover, valued at $2,657.56.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Tom from Recommended Plumbing & Gas and Ellenbrook Reece Plumbing Supplies for generously donating this amazing prize. Support like this makes such a difference to our club and helped us raise funds to support the club and our players.

What a way to celebrate our 2026 season! 🐍💚

Last Saturday, our Vipers family came together for our 2026 End of Season Awards & Celebration — a morning filled with plenty of smiles, proud moments and the chance to recognise what has been another incredible year for our club 🐍🏉

From our Little Rugby players right through to our U13 Girls, it was wonderful to see our players, coaches, families, volunteers and supporters all together celebrating the season.

A huge thank you to Michelle Maynard for joining us and helping us present our community awards. It was fantastic have youjoin our Vipers Family and help us celebrate our amazing club.
