What a season it has been for our U14/15 boys! ⚽️🔥

In their first year competing in the Central Coast competition, the boys have absolutely smashed it — and now they’ve earned themselves a spot in the Grand Final in Rockhampton on Saturday, 12 September!🏆

We’d love to get behind the boys and give them the support they deserve for their last game of the season! 📣💗

EEFC is looking at running a supporter bus for anyone who wants to head over and cheer our boys on!

💰 $20 per seat
👨‍👩‍👧 A responsible adult must attend with any child
📍 Departing Emerald Eagles Clubhouse — 6:00am
⚽ Grand Final — 9:30am–11:45am
🍽️ Lunch stop — Frenchville Sports Club
📍 Blackwater drop-off — 4:40pm
📍 Emerald return — 5:40pm

⚽️ 2026 BARRACLOUGH SHIELD ⚽️

We’re excited to welcome clubs from across Central Queensland to the 2026 Barraclough Shield at Morton Park! 🖤🤍

The carnival is all about player development, participation and enjoyment, with a focus on teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, effort and skill development — development comes before results! 🙌⚽️

⏰ Coaches, Managers and Referees Briefing will be held prior to kick-off outside the Clubhouse at
7:30am.

⏱️ Games are two 15-minute halves, with teams expected to be at their field at least 5 minutes before kick-off.

🏆 Teams will play pool/round-robin matches before Development and Showcase fixtures, with the format designed to maximise game time and participation.

⭐ Player of the Match will be awarded after every game, recognising performance, effort, teamwork, sportsmanship and attitude — it doesn’t have to go to a player from the winning team!

🏆 2026 MINOR PREMIERS! 🏆

An incredibly strong debut season for our Emerald Eagles U14/15 Division 1 boys, finished top of the ladder and crowned Minor Premiers! 💚🦅

After 21 games, the boys finished the season on 55 points with an incredible +211 goal difference, which is an amazing achievement and a credit to the players and coaches.

Now it’s finals time! ⚽🔥

This Saturday, the boys head to Rockhampton to take on Berserker Bears in their Semi Final.

River will now head to the Gold Coast from 25–27 September to compete in the Gold Coast Premier Invitational.
