TUESDAY NIGHT SCRAMBLE WRAPPED! ⛳

Another cracking Tuesday night of scramble golf, with plenty of highlights and the usual questionable contributions from a few familiar faces.

The Bogey Brothers, a couple of brothers short with Sam and Jack missing, made the genius decision to recruit honorary brother Tim to do all the heavy lifting. Work smarter, not harder, lads. Not a bad strategy 😂

Par Then Bar continue to steamroll just about anyone put in front of them, with Alex dropping putts from everywhere and allowing the other boys to leave their putter covers on all night. Oh, and he claimed ANOTHER meat tray for his troubles. Someone stop this man.

Mustard and Beers finally welcomed Ben back from his well-earned honeymoon, and wouldn’t you know it… THEY WON A GAME! Coincidence? Absolutely not. The boys are officially back! Well, off the bottom of the ladder anyway 😂

Tres Padres vs Pepperoni Vapes was an absolute dead heat. Both playing off 5, both shooting 5 under, and absolutely nothing to split them. I smell a rematch brewing… 👀

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SCRAMBLE WRAPPED! ⛳

Wednesday night certainly didn’t disappoint, with plenty of highlights, questionable golf and a few bruised egos along the way!

‘Balls Deep’ were among the many teams taking full advantage of the opportunity to purchase mulligans in support of X-Golf for Good, our new charitable initiative. And boy did they make theirs count! Successfully mulliganing their final putt on the 12th to force ‘The Dingleberries’ to sink theirs for a tie… they missed. AHAHAHA, money well spent lads 😂

‘Lack of Grace’ finally met their match, running headfirst into an absolute brick wall known as the ‘Green Raiders’. The boys handed them their first loss of the season, and they didn’t exactly make it close either. The undefeated dream is officially DEAD 😭

Two X-League staples went head-to-head once again, with ‘OOB’ continuing their favourite pastime of taking full advantage of Bears and Twinks. At this point, it’s less of a rivalry and more of a weekly donation of competition points. A pattern is definitely forming…

And finally, Tracey from TAFA decided to clean up absolutely EVERYTHING! No young Coops for support, not even an opposition to play against, yet somehow still walking away with NTP AND the meat tray. Rock up, collect the prizes, go home. Elite efficiency from Tracey 😂

MONDAY NIGHT SCRAMBLE WRAPPED!

The second and final scramble week has come and gone, but not without leaving a few casualties along the way 😂

🎯 First up, our very own Tim FINALLY getting himself back on the board and claiming NTP!

X-Stiff Shafts had a serious internal battle going for Longest Concede, with Rich and Maxi going blow for blow. Meanwhile, Beeno appeared to be there purely for moral support and to give the other two a breather… valuable contribution, champion

Super Sub Adam Kanofski rocked up, stole the Longest Putt choccies and looked the goods! Unfortunately, even his heroics weren’t enough to drag Fine W**e over the line. Can’t win ’em all, big fella

🔥 Watch Your Left put on an absolute CLINIC with just TWO players, proving once and for all just how little Rhys actually contributes to the team… I kid, I kid 👀

All in all, another cracking Monday night full of questionable golf, quality banter and a few bruised egos!

🏆 Only a couple of weeks left to lock in those finals spots, and things are starting to heat up!

Time to separate the contenders from the pretenders, ladies and gentlemen!

As part of our awareness and fundraising effort and in conjunction with the X-Golf for Good program, we would like to invite you to a night of golf, drinks, food and good times.
What – 3 Person Team Scramble over 18 holes.
When – Thursday the 29th of October – 7pm til late.
Cost - $450 per team of 3, includes drinks, food and the round of X-Golf
Prize – A round of golf with our resident pro – Wesley Hinton (QLD Amateur Champ)

The Wednesday night crew decided to give us their best impression of military golf this week…

LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT! 🫡⛳️😂

None more so than Kaiden from the Green Raiders, who kicked things off with water left, OB right, then water left AGAIN. An absolute masterclass in how not to start a round. 💀 Somehow, the bloke still managed to win his match by 7 shots… ELITE comeback 😂🔥

‘Lack of Grace’ are STILL out here winning games. Starting to think maybe I really was the problem… 🥲

Bailey finally decided to grace us with his presence and made sure everyone knew about it, taking home BOTH NTP and Longest Putt.

Finally, the return Xgolf Enoggera royalty Muzza, returns after his hard fought couple weeks overseas for his anniversary he returns with a bang … losing by a thousand shots 😭

We’re getting to the pointy end of the season now, the ladder’s tightening up, the pressure’s building, and there’s plenty still to play for! 👀

X-League at Enoggera continues to never disappoint 🔥

A tougher track this week and, boy, did some of us struggle…

But first, a massive shoutout to one of our X-League regulars, Ben, who managed to lock one down over the weekend 💍🍻 Epic work, mate! Enjoy the rest of the honeymoon ❤️

Speaking of Ben… his team came out HUNTING. Big Burgo was 3-under through the first two and looking absolutely unstoppable… until the copious amounts of booze consumed over the weekend finally caught up with him and he kindly handed every shot back 😂

Mustard and Beers still working incredibly hard to get themselves off the bottom of the ladder… Ben, you are sorely missed 😂

Hayden from Who’s Your Caddy clearly couldn’t handle the big-game players, gifting Any Hole’s a Goal a CLEAN SWEEP 🧹 The boys are trendingggggg 📈🔥

And finally, Mike from The Battlers returned from his holiday with a BANG — claiming both Longest Concede AND NTP with the same shot 🎯

Couldn’t secure the team victory though… so is it really a win? 🤔😂

⛳️ MONDAY NIGHT HIGH & LOWLIGHTS ⛳️

Another Monday night of X-League, and as always, the golf was questionable but the entertainment was elite 😂🔥

Noah proving yet again that being good at golf is absolutely NOT a prerequisite for playing X-League. Did nothing of note all night, yet somehow managed to win his match AND claim NTP for the second week running. Work smarter, not harder apparently (Thanks Richie)

Tom continuing to live and die by the sword of “who needs a short game when you can just hit driver really far?” Somehow still got the win though, so I guess we can’t say too much 😂

The lads from Drunk Drivers spent the night consistently one-upping each other on the longest putt. Brandon dropped a bomb, then Wolly went bigger, Graeme said “hold my beer”… only for Jonny to trump them all and take Longest Putt AND the meat tray. What a night for the big fella 🥩🏆

And finally, X-Golf leadership proving that time spent in the venue has absolutely zero correlation with golfing ability, with both Greenie and Tim firing a beautiful net +5 over their handicaps. Way to lead from the front, boys 👏😂

BONUS NOTE: Still no Moose on the loose 🫎

Everyone really doing their best to make Kawana Hotel Fuji look like a seriously tough track … it isn’t. 😂

Still, there were some serious highlights amongst the carnage 🔥

🎯 McKinley the weapon is finally coming into a bit of form claiming back to back NTPs, cleanly took being third in the team personal

🏌️ Alex from Par Then Bar finally figuring out how to play golf when he doesn’t have an opponent, putting together a season-best +5 gross… which somehow works out to -9 net. Handicap system working overtime there but anyway … Elite stuff 😂

🏆 And the weapons from Any Hole’s A Goal made the bold tactical decision to drop their captain (He had a dinner) … and immediately picked up their FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON.
