💙THAT’S A WRAP ON SEASON 2026! 💙

And just like that… another netball season has come to an end.
After 17 weeks of early mornings, late afternoons, big wins, tough losses, plenty of laughs, a few nerves, some challenging weather and countless kilometres run on court, we have officially reached the end of our 2026 season.

What a season it has been!

To our players — thank you. Thank you for turning up week after week, for giving your best, for supporting your teammates and for representing St Andrew’s with pride. Whether you were playing your first season, returning for another year, chasing finals glory or simply enjoying being part of a team, you have each played an important part in making this season what it was.

To our coaches — thank you for the countless hours you have given to developing our players. For the training sessions, the game-day advice, the encouragement, the tough conversations and for believing in our players, even when they may not have believed in themselves. Your contribution goes far beyond what happens on the court.

To our team managers and volunteers — thank you for everything you do behind the scenes. From organising teams and communicating information to scoring, umpiring, setting up, packing down and solving all those little problems that somehow appear every Saturday… our club simply could not operate without you.

To our parents, families and supporters — thank you for the sideline cheers, the lifts to training and games, the encouragement after the tough ones and the celebrations after the great ones. Thank you for giving your time and supporting not just your own player, but their teammates and our wider St Andrew’s family.

To our umpires - thank you for giving up your time to umpire our games. Umpiring is a tough job, one that takes a great amount of courage to do for very little praise. Without you we had no game, and we as a club are so proud of the way you all officiated your games and the respectful way you all went about your job and represented yourself and St Andrew’s with pride.

And to everyone who has contributed to our club in some way throughout the season — thank you. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, helps make St Andrew’s the club it is.

Finally a huge thank you to Community Bank Epping - Bendigo Bank for their continued support of our netball club. Their ongoing commitment to our club makes a real difference. Thanks to your generous funding, we have been able to purchase much needed equipment and supplies, helping us keep our club resources up to date, safe and ready for our players, coaches and volunteers. We are incredibly grateful to have a local community partner who believes in supporting grassroots sport and the community around them.

This season has given us plenty to celebrate. We have seen teams battle their way through the regular season, players take on new challenges, young umpires develop and achieve their National C badges, teams compete in finals and, of course, our St Andrew’s teams proudly take to the court on Grand Final day.

But while trophies, wins and premierships are wonderful moments, they are only one small part of what makes a season successful.
The real success is found in the friendships made, the confidence gained, the lessons learnt, the teammates who picked each other up, the coaches who kept encouraging, the parents who kept cheering and the sense of belonging that comes from being part of something bigger than yourself.
That is St Andrew’s. 💙

We are incredibly proud of what our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters have achieved in 2026.

So, from the entire St Andrew’s Netball Committee — thank you.
Thank you for trusting us with your season.
Thank you for your commitment.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you for your sportsmanship.
And most importantly, thank you for being part of our St Andrew’s family.

For most of us now it’s time to put the netballs away, give those legs a well-earned rest and celebrate everything we have achieved together. 🥳🏐
Bring on the memories, the celebrations and then… Season 2027 which will be starting a little earlier next year, but stay tuned to our socials for further information. 💙

With all the excitement and celebrations of yesterday’s Grand Finals, there were also some very special presentations taking place.

A huge congratulations to our St Andrew’s players who were officially presented with their National C Badges yesterday! 💙👏

This is a fantastic achievement and one that deserves to be celebrated. A very special thank you must also go to our incredible umpire mentors, Sheree, Patrick and Emily. Their expert tutelage, encouragement and guidance have played such an important role in helping our young umpires develop their skills and reach this level of recognition.

We are incredibly proud to see so many young women from our St Andrew’s community taking on the challenge of umpiring and continuing to grow within the sport. 💙

A special mention also goes to Georgie and Charlotte. While they may not officially umpire through St Andrew’s, they are part of our extended St Andrew’s family, and we believe anyone associated with our club deserves to have their achievements recognised and celebrated.
Congratulations to you all — your hard work, commitment and dedication are something to be very proud of! 💙🏐👏

🏆 CONGRATULATIONS TO TEAM 6 — OUR C3 LADIES! 🏆

What a way to finish the season!

This team is no stranger to grand final netball, having contested the last three grand finals, so they knew exactly what was required when they stepped onto the court today. And step up they did — producing a performance worthy of premiership glory! 💙

It was another hard-fought battle against North Ryde RSL, just as every contest between these two teams has been this season. They were the genuine threat standing between our ladies and the premiership, but our girls remained composed, trusted their game plan and produced some brilliant netball when it mattered most.

In a tight and physical contest, they dug deep, fought for every ball and held their nerve to clinch the title! 🏆
And to make the achievement even more impressive, they did it with three players missing from the grand final. That makes this premiership an even greater testament to the depth, determination and team spirit within this group.

A huge shoutout to the sideline supporters who never stopped cheering. Your encouragement, energy and belief from the sidelines certainly played its part in getting the team over the line today! 💙👏
Congratulations, ladies, on another outstanding season and on being crowned C3 PREMIERS! 🏆💙

You have once again shown what St Andrew’s netball is all about — commitment, resilience, teamwork and believing in each other right until the final whistle.

Enjoy this moment. You’ve earned it!

And hopefully we’ll see you all back next season, ready to defend that title! 👑💙

🏆 C4 ARE YOUR 2026 PREMIERS! 🏆

Our C4 team have closed out season 2026 in the best possible way — as Premiers! 💙🤍

What an outstanding season these ladies have produced.
Dundas Central may just be having a few St Andrew’s nightmares after today! 😴💙

Having finished the regular season as minor premiers with just one loss — and that loss coming at the hands of St Andrew’s — Dundas Central entered the Grand Final full of confidence and feeling fresh after cruising through to the decider following a semi-final forfeit.
Our ladies, on the other hand, had fought their way through a challenging season, battling week after week to keep their season alive and earn their place on the biggest stage.

But our ladies had a story of their own to write… and they made sure it had the happiest of endings. 💙

From the very first whistle, St Andrew’s came out with purpose, determination and belief. They dominated the contest and showed Dundas that their earlier-season victory was no fluke.
Every single player played their part. Every contest, every pass, every intercept, every goal and every bit of hard work contributed to what was a fantastic team victory.

And what a deserving reward for a group of ladies who never gave up.
🏆 Congratulations, C4 Premiers! 🏆
You believed.
You battled.
You earned it.
You have done yourselves, your families and your St Andrew’s supporters incredibly proud.

What a way to finish the season! 💙🤍

💙Congratulations to our 14-15/4 team on an outstanding season of netball! 💙

What a season it has been for these girls. The growth they have shown from week to week has been wonderful to watch, with the learnings from training translating into their performance on game day. Each of you has developed, grown in confidence and continued to build your skills throughout the season, and you should be incredibly proud of how far you have come.

You were certainly our quiet achievers. Week after week, you turned up, took to the court with a wonderful attitude, played with great sportsmanship and always carried yourselves with such maturity and respect. You never got caught up in the antics — you simply got out there, played your netball and gave it everything you had. And that is something to be incredibly proud of.

Whilst the winners' trophy may not have been yours to lift today, the way you played your netball, supported one another and presented yourselves throughout the season makes you winners in our eyes. Your effort, attitude, resilience and sportsmanship are a credit not only to each of you, but also to your incredible coaches, Kellie and Emily, who have guided and supported you throughout the season.

🏐 Congratulations girls on a fantastic 2026 season. You should all hold your heads high and be proud of what you have achieved.
We hope to see every one of you back next year, ready to continue your journey, build on everything you have learned and hopefully go one step further. 💙

Well done, 14-15/4 — you have done yourselves, your coaches and St Andrews Netball proud!
